The cheapest plate of chicken rice would cost SGD$2 which is like RM5...

Which is no much different than in KL/Selangor... whistling.gif
As a student, my budget for each meal is around RM5-6 also. May gone worse for those who take more meats.

In short, SG's affordability seems to be (much) higher than MY.

For Budget around RM1xx~RM2xx, you can try adopt Alps Switch, althou it is not Cherry MX Switch, but they are still a mechanical switch. try look for Ducky Alps Model.
*
But for the sake of modability(keycaps, keystems), Cherry MX switch is the more popular thus better choice. whistling.gif

Nope, FILCO/Xarmor/Ducky do have wireless model, but either stop at prototype stage or not popular(Xarmor).

Added on November 20, 2011, 7:32 pmFUUUUUUUUUUUU, here is a sick looking FILCO!!!!(the base model should be FKB91JU).

Should be some ancient EOLed product of FILCO.

just realise that TT MEKA G1(full size) is only RM300ish(2890NT$). Seems quite a bargain as most review on it are positive and claimed that it is well made like SS7G.

FUUUUUU, I am sold to the design at the first sight... cry.gif

BTW, really nice layout to place some extra large arrow keys inside a small keyboard.

SS7G is goodingly built with superior quality(except keycaps). Some ppl even try run a truck(4WD) over it and it is still functionable(partially, LOL).

However, if you are not diehard need for the Steelseries branding, audio ports, USB 1.1 and gigantic wrist rest, there is also lots nice® and much cheaper alternative out there, especially Leopold brows.gif .

BTW, I don't think SS7G still cost RM550(SRP) as in last year I already saw many retailer sell them at below RM480(cheapest even below 400). IMO, SS7G is really an old model and I think it almost reach it's EOL or revising dy.

Rm300 for that. Compared to the Noppoo Choc which is about RM200+.
LEDs cost RM100. Damn
*
Even take out the LED, Race still seems more poison than Noppoo Choc Mini(may be cz Choc Mini is quite old dy? LOL).
Race is more ergonomic(the profile seems really smooth from R5 to R1), where as Noppoo's is sharp changes like ladder.
Lastly, I really like the 4 bigass arror keys.

the big arrow keys are there... with the sacrifice of the right shift......... unless you type without the right shift key.... if not then the design is good to go....

I do use the R. Shift especially for "<", ">" and "?".
I don't find that the new layout will be inconvenience as our fingers are already on the arrow keys, just need to move to left to reach "?" and "shift". SS6GV2/Zowie one are the real inconvenience which ''?" is not directly beside Shift. Another compact layout is worse by having this sequence: "?" > "arror up" > "R.Shift".

LOL, the "Esc" on Race is bigass one. Need to get a modifier key if you want to replace it.

Even so, I don't find any reason normal size key can't be put onto modifier size key, just that you will see some holes there... whistling.gif

Noppoo Choc keycaps uses Cherry Profile, so those awesome faces will fit with a similar height  tongue.gif
Don't think ergonomics has anything to do with that.

@westley0214
Probably they did not put the keycaps back properly.

I still remember that last time there is some picture comparing the profile(slope) of Deck Legend, Xarmor and Razer BWU. Some of them are having more natural curve(slope) and some are like ladders as I mentioned.

A wild rich fag spotted! whistling.gif

BTW guys, today only I realise that the "+" stem of cherry switch is not a perfect "+". It is designed that the "|" is slimmer and longer where as the "--" is shorted fatter and shorter. It is hard to note them with bare eyes though(<0.2mm...) rclxub.gif

I found out it by some of my uniprofile keycaps unable to put on horizontally(turned 90 degree).

LOL RM180(min, after charges/taxs/postages should reach over 200) for a keycap? I doubt (m)any ppl in this thread will get them(except squarebox maybe, he rich fag).

IMO, I rather spent the RM200 for a Lego Darth Vader then mod them onto my keyboard, PROFIT?

Wao, the price of this keyboard(made by Devlin UK, brown switch and doubleshots keycaps). Had dropped to an incredible price. shocking.gif
It worth more even by harvesting the keycaps and keyswitches...

Yeah, i always wash my PBT white keycaps to get back the Clean White. looks ugly and dirty when used for 3 month.
White Color get dirty easily and require constant washing.

But PBT should always be avoided to contact with sun light. opps, then my brain is failing me dy, haha
it's on white color keycap, please see my bulk thread for deeper explaination. i think it is because the "white" shown there is kinda blackish/brownish, thats why he has the doubt

wah, wtf la, i collecting money so hard for KBT Pure Anniversary edition, now this lure me, omg, la, no money d.
*
Go ahead for your Pure, the keyboard above is not mean for daily typing anyway(not enough key and the grid keys placement is quite awkward to type on).

The main reason you will ever buy them are for the quality double shots keycaps(made by Devlin) but do note that they are UNIPROFILE one(not too ergonomic but good for those who like changing QWERTY to different layout). Also, do note that they are made in UK, not China, LOL...

IMO, Devlin is Captain Obvious as they even made blank black doubleshots(in other words, naked black doubleshots keycaps)... rclxub.gif

I dono LOL, may be you go ask them why? tongue.gif
You should be able to see it in the picture above, a whole blank + black key which is doubleshot...

BTW, someone in geekhack proposed that may be it is more costly for them to make a new mold for it.
