QUOTE(Haruyuki @ Jan 1 2012, 12:56 AM) So far all the comments are positive(I mean the FULL SIZE 104Keys model). The only bad comments I ever heard are "stiff "military grade" braided wire" and only black switch. For the 85% small keyboard, the odds layout may bother you. Apart from that, the USB over 16KRO things MAY BE buggy(can't confirm but it's relative Irocks 6230 is having some problems in the field). Built quality wise, so far no negative heard. |

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Jan 1 2012, 03:15 AM) Saw it but doesn't really take note on pricing. If they can manage to make a full set of the keycaps(with R1,2,3,4 and large modifiers), I will instantly grab one(provided it cost less than 100USD, LOL).Alternating the full keyboard with the 2 riddle keycaps, OWAI, sounds like batman? |

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Jan 2 2012, 12:19 AM) i think it's still acceptable, because there' not hard contact when bottoming the keyboard(membrane serves as a lander pad for switch) all 30g, exclusive for Topre 108 Japan layout right(except limited/special edition)?Based on some sales report i seen, japanese are fond with 30g while koreans loves 45g or 55g. i felt quite strange that the market is totally opposite between japan and korea, one loves soft while another prefers hard. |

QUOTE(工藤新一 @ Jan 2 2012, 12:43 AM) err, sorry, i'm noob, what is a linear switch? Linear = increasing linearly/uniformly the stiffness as you press down the switch, like pressing down on spring. If non back lid keyboard which is good? Actually I tried Razer black widow ultimate, and I love the feeling of typing on it. Others I dun have any chance to try it, no shop selling them. but razer doesnt seem to be good at mechanical keyboard, so I am looking for other~ BTW, razer black widow ultimate is using what switch? I'm kinda rushing to get one because my friend coming back from Taiwan and wanna ask him to bring back for me, since it is cheaper there~ XD Tactile = sudden bump in the resisting force(dig out the rubber dome from your keyboard and slowly pressing and feeling it) Normal keyboard even rubber dome/scissor switch also are tactile, most of them occur near/when you bottom up the keys. If you love the feeling of Razer BWU, that mean you love Blue switch. Love it then keep with it, the more you try the more unhappy you feel, and the more your wallet burn, LOL... Hmm, Taiwan. Aim for brands like Thermaltake, CM Storm, and most importantly Ducky and KBT. Those keyboard are more rare to be found in Malaysia and cheaper in Taiwan. KBT Race on the other hand is quite a rare thing that is still exclusive to China and Taiwan now. Added on January 2, 2012, 12:01 am QUOTE(lucidlts @ Jan 2 2012, 12:54 AM) a lot of my friend in china gave keycool 87 a 5 star rating after comparing it with other TKL boards. other than the warranty, everything looks fine Still desperately waiting for mine.... Ordered last tuesday and probably gonna reach soonest thursday this week... Hope mine isn't being that seriously plagued by the arrow keys offset problems.... QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Jan 2 2012, 01:16 AM) Also available in the Realfoce PRO 104 in ANSI layout. Ermm, thats some serious WTF there... Somemore thats special edition somemore... Try change the keycaps and see if that will make better.I'd love to say key alignment is not really important, after all, it is just a keyboard, but this is WTF ![]() But most importantly, dont be as sucks as Razer BWU I OK already... Razer Keys slanted height uniform + overlapping(ALT and spacebar)... Added on January 2, 2012, 12:59 am QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Jan 2 2012, 01:53 AM) I know this isn't much to go by, but can anyone with a leopold compare the width of the spacebar width and compare it to this keycool? Hmm, can take some macro shot on those offset keys just now? Want to see if the problem is caused by the offset of switch itself...» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « BTW, what happened to the stabiliser on the left shift? Added on January 2, 2012, 1:00 am QUOTE(BlueBerry~ @ Jan 2 2012, 01:51 AM) BTW, can someone remove me from the Zowie Celeritas list? Manage to sell that off. Also sold my semi faulty BWU off as well. Spilled water on it and the clicks werent uniform anymore, got a Filco Majestouch 2 instead. Woot. Try PM TS.BTW, how about the FILCO R that you hated much last time? Sold too? QUOTE(Haruyuki @ Jan 2 2012, 04:24 AM) go GS search. Some retailers sell them. Though, the price is really, not very affordable...btw, another reason most/all of us here hold our horse is due to the keyboard not fully mechanical. Some may argue that we also probably won't use the rubber dome section much but still as keyboard enthusiasts, we just can't get over the bizarre /oddity. Also, keycaps changing will become a hell of jobs for corsair... This post has been edited by Human10: Jan 2 2012, 03:41 AM |

QUOTE(storm88 @ Jan 2 2012, 02:00 PM) It's all right, but had to tell that, Actually those 9 series price are still consider OK, as those China seller in Taobao also price around that price. The pricing structure at Taiwan vs Malaysia (or other distributors in the world) is totally different. Seller at Taiwan doesn't need go thru the level of distributor. While at Malaysia and other country, we distributors do the works for Ducky. Just that the XM model suppose to be an entry board, those the price should be more affordable to attract customers. |
