I am guessing that this start stop thingy does not shorten the lifespan of the engine.
*
I'm sure Honda did consider all the posibilities before implementing this Start/Stop feature. So yea, Nothing to worry smile.gif

Yea, that's why i say for those who can wait better get the FL one. If you cant then no choice but to get the current one lor. Because no one knows when is it gonna launch. My own prediction is the first or 2nd quater of 2013. Which is between March - June 2013.

QUOTE(Kikifish @ Nov 25 2012, 02:45 AM)
Me too, I also booked the facelifted version. Picked red MT. SA said most prob by end of the year since the current model is no more in production. Lolz
*
End of the year? It's already end of the year now lol. U mean next year?

any idea what is the price range for the new facelift? doubt it will be the same price...
*
I think there would only be a small increment in price. Based on the launching price from Japan unless Honda Malaysia wishes to price it higher like increase RM5000

finally found a buyer for my OEM rims..
how much would be a good selling price for the rims? no tyres just the rims.

also.. my warranty confirm void d ah.. cos change rims? or would it be better to keep the rims to change back if anything happen to my car can claim? i'm abit confused here cos my uncle said he changed, went back to honda
and they said void d.. :S whereas some of my other friends said warranty's still valid.. even after change rims

thanks in advance for the help guys wink.gif

on a side note.. hmmmm kota damansara ah.. this sat ah..
WHO"S GOING?!?!??!!  drool.gif
*
It depends, If I'm not wrong, you are allowed to upgrade a size bigger only. Which means that our stock 16" , u can upgrade to 17". More than that would be claim as warranty void

if you worry about the warranty, just search for any new owners. pinjam for a few days to claim your warranty.

but no, rims dont affect your warranty. Not even proton has a say on this. haha. unless your car comes with the tyre pressure monitors like the ones they have in US
*
I do think Rim does affect the warranty Bro. Honda does says that or even Proton because the bigger the size . They claim that it might affect the suspension or even the braking as heavier rims would cause the car to be heavier and more braking is needed to stop. The warranty that would be void is not the whole car but only the suspension / affected parts only I guess.

*

Surprisingly the US Market FL CR-Z rims are using the same one as the current CRZ. The FL CR-Z rims shown during the launch in Japan is just awesome but I've no idea why didnt UK use it lol. Hope the Malaysia version has it smile.gif

Should I wait for the new Crz? Loans are approved, ready stock, and SA giving 6k discount.

I'm thinking holding off until the new model's out. At the rate Honda is pushing to clear their current Crz, I think this indicates the next batch coming soon.
*
Wow 6k discount. That's a lot. Previous I only seen 3k I think. If you can wait then definitely go for the FL CR-Z. I would expect it to launch around March 2013 and probably you will get your ride around mid of the year

Hello everyone...
Been reading a lot here and seen about year end discount for CRZ. Some say it's 1k and even up to 6k.
I ordered my CRZ with a used car as dealer it accepts trade in.
How do we know if the salesman con our discount? My salesman said there is no discounts for new CRZ which he means the CVT model.
Hope someone able to help me.
Thanks
*
CVT maybe minor or no discount as the demand is still there. The manual version would have a higher discount rate

Get some lighter fluid, or alcohol and pour onto a paper towel. Wipe the shiny part with the paper towel to remove glue, you may need to use more fluid to melt the glue. Use another part of the paper towel if it gets dirty....
Do not use autosol or any harsh corrosive liquid, as that part is a plastic part, not metal.
Good luck!
p/s : All CRZ have this problem, even mine when I received it early of the year. Just wipe it down, and it will be as good as new.
*
Same too. Ended up i used Thinner to clear the glue off

Drop by the Old Klang Road Honda dealer to book a CRZ. After much nego only only 3500 cash discount. Decided to shop around a bit more. Salesman claim that the 2013 model will only be available in June.
*
Wow if that's true then it might mean that the FL would only come in during June

I doubt it. but its good news smile.gif.... Seeing that Jakarta already start selling FL Z in Feb... perhaps KL will get it sometime soon after Feb!!
*
Doubt it too as even in Japan there's a minimal price increase like RM500-1k. Knowing HM, they would take the advantage to even increase more. Anyways, it would be a good news if price doesn't change....But no one knows the exact price until it launches in Malaysia smile.gif
