MSI A.P.E.S PC Showoff Challenge
Brought to you by MSI Malaysia and A.P.E.S



MSI Malaysia is proud to collaborate with A.P.E.S (http://apes.my), the high end PC gaming and water cooling systems reseller in South East Asia in organizing this MSI A.P.E.S PC Showoff Challenge. It has been quite sometime since there's a local Case Modding competition and we feel that it's time for us serve our loyal customers/supporters who are into Case Modding. Although this challenge may look like a professional Case Modding competition, but it is more like a SHOWOFF challenge where both MSI and A.P.E.S fan is given the platform to showcase their effort in PC Building and their Hardware Collection. With or without case modding, everyone is welcome to "showoff" their RIG. Let's us "educate" PC Users how "advance" a Personal Computer can be!!

Scoring System
1. 50% of score by MSI Malaysia and A.P.E.S Panel of Judges. (includes MSI Gaming Ambassador, Tan "Shizuma" Lyn Xhin, A.P.E.S Owner/Representative)
2. 50% of score by Lowyat.NET Polling. We will create a new thread after the closing date just for polling vote.

Prize
Champion: 1 x MSI Windpad Enjoy 7, 1 x Bitfenix Survivor Casing, APES.my shopping voucher worth RM500.
1st Runner up: 1 x MSI R5450 Graphics Card, 1 x Bitfenix Outlaw, APES.my shopping voucher worth RM150.
2nd Runner up: 1 x MSI Remote Control Helicopter, APES.my shopping voucher worth RM100.
PS: Prize for both categories will be the same

Rules

1. Each submission must contain at least 4 pictures. Refer posting guideline below for details
2. Every picture, the PC must be turned on
3. A valid submission must has at least ONE (1) MSI Product , either Mainboard Or Graphic Card.
4. Submission after closing date will not be accepted.
5. A user can submit more than ONE entry, but only can win ONE prize.

3. Side view of PC with Side Panel off
4. 45° view from front with side panel on


Test Bench

1. Facing the back I/O panel
2. Facing the Graphic Card
3. Top View
4. 40° view


Each submission can only be up to 7 pictures, 4 as above and another 3 optional, no fix angle for another 3.

and no, there is no need for the back of the LCD. Just the back of the PC is enough.

Need to lift up my CPU for 1st and 2nd photo.
Impossible with my computer table that I currently used.

So need to disassemble and assemble it on other place. That lot work to do.

for those with "desktop" style casing...how?

if follow rule no#3, then take side pic with cover off...cannot see the internal...unless take from top pic...

There is no need for worklog as not everyone do mod their casing. Plus the final product / running PC will look more attractive.
There is no limit for submission, but ONE user can win only ONE prize. we will pick only the best.

er btw i c on rules says nothing about have to have msi hardware so i presume anything goes?

Hey my offcie rig not bad one man got 2600k and a 560ti lol Case also not bad le spec wise it probably classify as a mind range gaming rig but just i put in my office lol.

mean "home made" casing cant join tis comp.

oh darn, have no MSI products at all, can use sticker arrr? and my PROJECT SR-02 won't be completed in time...

i might end up being only one with a msi part lol... no lah think most ppl are dressing up their rig and enter later im feeling the last 2 days before closing there will be quite a number of entries.

erm, it seem i dont have the budget.. =(

so the reason i enter this challenge because i want try my luck and how far my rig can go and share the picture of my rig with you guys..
i know there a lots of better Rig on air cooling out there ...i seen a nice Lian Li casing with Noctua NH D14 in the system somewhere..
so about the cable management ..thats the best i can do because of limited space in CM elite 430 Casing ...
so i hope you all like my rig and vote my rig XD....
