Actually im not kaki modi, this LC just bought last month after trade in my ex5, i'm always using motorcycle for highway use, so basically my setting more into top and layan corner only..

for me la, if u serious to learn about 4stroke system, start with operate ex5 should be ok, when I saw lc system, i oso pening ledi..

first operate,
when setting up timing to match TDC, the timing chain and decompression, i oso don't know, hantam saje,
the result, my setting even feel better than kedai punya setting (kedai want me die faster, made my FC skyrocket).

second operate,

i checked my bike just now, i see dust and sand stick at the engine cover..near the EO hole..it feel very sticky..is it EO leaking? bcos fews days ago i changed clutch plate..is it becos pomen didnt change the gasket? or is it normal bcos i just went from kuantan to KT..

P.S. my eo so cair..eventhough engine has cooled down, it still didnt become viscous again hmm.gif
*
QUOTE(alexei @ Nov 6 2011, 12:36 AM)
EO is not margarine, the colder the more cair it is.
*
Yup the colder it is the more cair, it really depend on your EO grade,
let's say 10-40W, 10viscosity during winter, when reach 2xx Celcius it turn into 40,

EO tend to evaporate under high pressure/temp and during our riding, there is a lot of small light particles and when it mix with EO resulted some sticky appearance on the engine cover. Small gap between fitting of case area most likely a contributor for this issue.

That's the reason when u want to buat jahat, u pour sand into their EO tank, sure berkesan, cos sand and EO, to separate them is not something easy.. laugh.gif

hi... wanna ask 2nd hand for this motor is around how much a? coz i google at mudah, roughly its rm5k +- dat expensiv meh? new 1 how much? @.@
*
around seremban u can get 5k++
normal for shop to sell around that price, coz ppl still search for the old model.

tips : search for lower mileage, test kaw2, ask for 1 month or more warranty from shop in case any problem appear

nahh, my ride was already 4 years old+ (since Sept. 07) with 34k km on odo but still didn't need any major service (even never buka blok/head/carb wan smile.gif ). others like change EO/OF and change clutch plate only.. my foreman said, if got no weird / noisy sound from engine, then no need to kacau engine biggrin.gif
*
4 year still 34K, if me, 4 year mau odometer return back to zero.. lol..
Just maintain the maintenance.. unless hunger for more..

Jetting with 22.5pilot jet make my bike feel respon toward low rpm.. feel stable.. only left front fork + add stabilizer could satisfied my handle control.. other than that, feel happy aledi with bike.. wub.gif

kerosene is one of the product of petroleum.. i dont see why you can't use petrol for that..
thinner oso can... no problem bro.. mostly our sprocket is categorize as prehardnen, it won't get wear off by liquid.. even with acid it just touch the surface...

Next project during next month,

stabilizer + Fork oil change + tighten handle

Main purpose to reduce vibration and increase the abs functionality at the front area. I hope successful.
Do recommend the fork oil to use, how ml to pour?
Do enlight what to adjust in order to make my handle is tight (uneasy to move left and right so much)

TQ guy.

ok got it from tech sheet.

std 0.064L for each side with 10W fork oil.. will adjust it into stiffen area.
left the handle question.. Im not so sure where to adjust in order to reduce left right movement.. rclxub.gif

@alexei,
I'm always DIY my lc135.. rarely send to workshop unless it's related with sprocket, tire and bottom overhaul.. because of tool insufficient

save a lot of money in term of workmanship and part plus get know well for the motorcycle..
