You can't do that. You have to buy new laptop with i5 processor.
If you plan to buy new one and want to upgrade the proc/graphics in the future, buy sager laptop |

QUOTE(NoobHacker @ Nov 3 2011, 12:13 PM) The Shield sure can take out . But I don't think the Laptop one can use on Desktop Motherboard because the socket is totally difference , maybe they is adapter for it |

A lot of the laptops in the market have their CPU soldered onto the motherboard and not installed on a socket soldered to the motherboard. There are exceptions though, but even if yours is removable the chances of you installing an Intel Core i5 laptop processor into it is slim as the socket is probably different.

QUOTE(aeppy @ Nov 3 2011, 02:28 PM) Well. that could be theoretically done but the laptop would be too bulky to house those stuff. Not to mention the heat that puts out could be an issue. For example a thin laptop like the Ultrabooks would not be able to house power-hungry components and the heat could kill the hardware unless laptop manufacturers come to a consensus to regulate the form factor of the laptop and the motherboard. But that just my opinion anyway.. |
