Does anyone know what's the effect of this medication? I was given this by the doc to induce my menses but I checked online and discovered that this drug actually delay instead of induce menstruation.

Yes the drug actually delays menstruation.
However, it is also used to induced menstruation. The way they used it is that once you stop the medication, there will be a lack of that hormone and it will induce menstruation.

You'll be given the same medication if you ask to delay menstruation. Once you stop the medication, then you'll most likely have your period.

What's the reason you got the pills from the doctor anyway?

Because i've been almost 2 months didn't come period already so i went to visit doctor due to got case previously that's a hygroma in my ovary.
I was afraid it will grow back so this is the reason why i visited doctor. Fortunately doctor said it didn't grow back just period late asked me to consumed this medicine can induce my menstruation. But been stop about 2 days wonder why the period still not yet come, so do i post to ask whether anyone know about this medicine or not.

If that's the case, you should go back to your doctor for consultation.
It is true that it is used to induced menstruation so you should consult your doctor about why your period still hasn't come yet.
Based on my experience, I stop medication and period came the next day. These type of things usually depends on individual as well. Probably something wrong with your hormones as well. Better get second consultations from other gynae.

Isn't it ? But as the gynae told me period will only come after few days stop medication. Perhaps i should wait 1 or 2 days more ?
Actually that time i was planned to go back to my old gynae for consultation since he got my record there as well but i cant manage to go there cause the gynae off duty at 5pm on weekdays and i wasn't free on weekend so that i go for visit another clinic.
And the gynae did use the machine to scan and check my ovary he said everything is fine. Just might be hormones changed and stress nowadays made my period late.

Different people react to medications differently.
Since you have a history of a hygroma in your ovary, it's best to go back to see the gynae that diagnose you and cure you since he will know you best. We are no doctors here so we cannot advice you on anything that serious.

Listen to what your gynae say, wait a few more days and see. As mentioned, different people react differently. Just relax and remember stress is a very strong factor of causing menses to be delayed.

Personally, period inducing pills do not work for me. I have taken both inducing and delaying pills in 2 different occasions.

Norcolut alone delays period. Felt bloated in the stomach, felt fat, and bit of a mood swing. After stopping the pill, period comes after 3 days.

For the inducing, Norcolut is one of the pills in the 3 pills combination (per dossage). Pharmacist told me it is the combination of hormone pills, which bla bla bla bla...(all those scientific explanation). The only thing that I understand is that the period regulation might be disturbed, mood swing, tender breast. I had very very minimal mood swing, very sensitive tender breast and I felt fat at that period of time.

Guess that being fat after consuming hormone pills is my side effect

your "feeling fat" is called "water retention" and it happens every time before a period.

Exactly I felt stomach bloated now and I did finished the courses of medicine already wonder y my period still haven't come yet. Aikkss. I can't accept my weight is gaining. Wonder is that the side effect of the pills. Forgotten to ask doctor that time. I guess I have to visit back my old doctor for better consultation. Because the pills doesn't work on me.

my december period on 12th before go travel.
then my last period on 6th of january. (early aweek to 10days on this month)
this month febuary my period havent come till now.
i did 8 times pregnancy test kit on last week.
8 times all is negative result.
So, Im out of patient to wait, and went to gynae hospital for check up again on 11th of feb.
the doctor said there is nothing after use an ultrasound to check.
doctor said not everyone is same. maybe stress or anything else cause the period delay.

Do anyone here meet this before? Pls advice me.

If you ask people here, we are going to give you the same advice. If you google online, it will be the same advice too.

I've known people who had missed their period for 3 months due to exam stress. This sort of thing is soooo common.

before this, my period come regular every month.

Lots of things will affect the menstrual cycle. Stress, food, exercise, changes in environment, sickness, etc. Most common is stress and most people don't even know that they are under lots of stress.

Since you did pregnancy test for 8 times (which is a lot lol), it's pretty clear you are not pregnant.
If you're not married, you could probably be paranoid that you are pregnant, which will lead to stress, which will lead to delay in menstrual cycle, which will make you think you are still pregnant, which will stress you out more, and the cycle continues.

that day 13th i met the gynae doctor.
after i check with ultrasound. i have do some injection.
and its anti cervical cancer injection.
is that this injection will delay the period?

I am also like last 2 months my period didnt come, doctor say is because my hormon inbalance. therefore she gave me norcolut 5mg, she say after taking the pills for 5 days my period will come approximately on the 3 days after i finish the medicine, but till now also there is no sign of my period. Should I just wait for a few more days or should i consult my doctor?

the side effect after taking this medicine was i will always feel hungry and yes i also gain weight, also mood swing.

Used to work on me.. but now it doesn't.. guess gona have my check up soon.. you should too..
