I think half of you guys don't get how the mechnics of Stats works (Mostly in HoN and not LoL cause its a different type of mechanic, DOTA has no stat tracking as far as I know)
These guys:
Supports/Gankers/Tanks = less kills more assist + deaths...
vs
These guys:
Carries, Burst Casters
When it comes to a real HoN/Dota game its always about overall meta game (aka how many kills my team did at the end of the game, how much gold earned overall, who earned the least and also who does most assist + warding)
Doesn't mean that anyone with bloody high kill count = good
Usually these players are the ones who actually fuking play the game properly (aka initiate, gank and provide buff/support spells) without them its pretty much GG for any team based engagement.
So lets look at HoN and how they track the stats....long ago there was only K/D which usually is reflected by the hero use % counter
Sometimes people who only pick cheap heroes like fayde, Witchslayer, pyro, thunderbringer, dampeer, deadwood and etc (and use them well) have high K/D ratio (2.0 or w/e) that means they are good at doing what they do (killing)...doesn't mean they are good players.
Sometime later when they introduced the new HoN 2.0 stat tracker, they implemented the new K/D/AsT ratio...<<<< THIS FOR FK SAKE IS VERY IMPORTANT...EVEN MORE THAN FUKING K/D....you know why ?
Cause it explains to you who the hell is playing like a teammate and actually cares about Winning more than getting thier stupid kills....example: 4/5/15
THe old system would register this as (0.7/1) undert he K/D stats
From any idiots who view those stats consider them as rubbish and useless....however to a real pro (someone who looks for teammates)
4/5/15 would = to 2.4/0.8 or something (K,A/D ratio) which is so much more appropriate and shows that that player is conpitent (not an ahbeng)
So if you guys say that....O I died so much but I asist and play support...so my deaths = my overall play style bla bla......you tell me your K,A/D b4 you even try using that a reason for failing....cause honestly players who have 0/8/0 are pretty much useless....vs players with 0/8/20
Furthermore if anyone doesn't understand what a role of a initiator/Ganker is...I suggest you don't use them cause your role isn't to die...its to start the fight and get out......if you cant get out take 1 of them with you b4 dieing...(rule of use)
If DOTA2 uses this system I'm pretty sure where the line of pros and noobs are.....cause frankly alot of players don't understand this system very well, especially in HoN.....Players only see PSR and K/D when in fact K,A/D is the more important one. I rather get into a game where theres like full implementation of assisting than just killing shit.
Sorry saw 2 many weird excuses about not playing well and complaining about how they play support role and sucking at it while using pointless reasoning to explain thier actions.
If you're referring to me, no, I wasn't complaining. I was remarking on more how the K/D does not reflect how I play the game. (which is more of support caster than anything.)
