Good thing happen to come across this. Last weekend my bro in-law and I was at one of Lorenzo’s showroom to check out their rectangular dining table and sofa set. We were planning to make the purchase this weekend. Looks like we will have to look at other suppliers.
Don’t want to pay premium price with our hard earned money and end up with defective products. Will definitely give Lorenzo products a miss.

Added on November 3, 2011, 8:56 pmThis is very bad of Lorenzo to push away their responsibility. For an international company like Lorenzo to have this kind of attitude towards its customer, very bad. BTW, their products are not cheap. If they are confident of their product, they have nothing to hide. No wonder they have been pushing out so many advert to promote their product.....
Should at least, quickly replace or repair the defective product without trying to push away responsibility by claiming wear and tear. Really sucks.

There are many other brands/ suppliers with better quality product and cost cheaper some more.

Company like IKEA states their guarantees on their website; with the years of guarantee stated clearly. Very clear and concise.
http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_MY/customer_serv.../guarantee.html

If not mistaken, they even have 100 days return policy. Very gentlemen.

thats why my furniture was bought from Cavenzi!
At least i know it is Low cost, low quality.

Better than high cost, low quality.

Very true indeed ...
I have discussed with my bro in-law and both of us have decided that we will not get the Lorenzo dining table and sofa set.

better to pay lower price and expect low quality than to pay high price for Lorenzo product and expect low quality.

BTW, where is Cavenzi located? Have to start searching again...

Ikea is not the best of furniture. Only good thing is that they gave the assurance.  I have a computer table from Ikea which was never fixed though gone through 2 rounds of exchange.  Finally I gave up and live with it.  Don't want to bring there over and over again though they will change without question ask.  A friend of mine also live with some seats cushion problem though undergo change for 2 times.  So nothing is perfect.

Agree with you that nothing is perfect. The most important is the assurance. If you have any problem with the product, if the company is willing to look at it and rectify them, I would be able to accept it.

Company like Lorenzo who sells their product overpriced and yet refuse to rectify their defective product later. That's the ones that we should avoid going to. I really wonder how they do business. Charging customer to rectify their defective product. Shame on them.
I will not buy anything from Lorenzo unless they change their business policy.

Same here, i bought my diner set from lorenzo which was on sale one. it is a 6 chair piece. but after 1 year, all the PVC leather started to crack and peel. So i complain but because of the set is on sale no warranty one loh. So in order for me to chance the PVC leather, it would cost me RM80 per chair. *sigh* RM80 x 6, = RM480.

anyone here got suggestion on anywhere to change the cover or not ah? I think i dont want change PVC leather because dont last one. Best change to a fabric?

Oh, you bought the dinning set from Lorenzo? Thought it was supposed to be leather? Leather should be lasting, what.... whistling.gif
How come can crack after one year? Even those cheap PVC will last longer than that...

Nothing wrong with PU. Many hotels and restaurant in town uses PU for their furniture.  That's why they upholster the furniture regularly thus giving clean look.

Understandable... even PU or PVC should last more than a year. But should not be like what that is stated below.....

Agreed.  One year is kind of short.  However, we do not know how the PU seat is being maintained or used.  Also we do not know how the furniture is being stored/used by Lorenzo since it is a clearance set.

Recently have been seeing adverts by Lorenzo. Maybe it is their way to get rid of their defective products to unsuspecting customers. If this is the case, then it is very bad way of doing business.
Their sales person reminds their customers to inspect before acceptance of their product as Lorenzo will be responsible for any complain after that. That's was what the sales person told me.

I dont know la. It is PVC leather. It was on-sale clearance. I guess that is the major problem because I am not sure how long has the unit been with Lorezo .. and added a couple of years to it. The PVC leather just starts to crack and peeling. All 6 of them has the similar problems ...  cry.gif

I understand how you feel. cry.gif It is really frustrating that after pay so much and you get such crappy product from this so called international company. They are putting up advert every now & then to try to off load these products to unsuspecting customers. Very bad business practice, I would say.
