Grabbed myself a jolly Joker + plasma dash + front and rear plate + set of rollers for just 2000yen so around rm65+- at akiba. To bad i dont have much time to explore akihabara today and tomorrow im going back to Malaysia.

KLIMS race yesterday.. Managed to do top 50 only..




But it was fun though.
The pressure to get the car qualified in each and every level almost makes me gila already..

good idea..later meet can share2 knowledge and experience about mini4wd since i newbie in this world.. selain itu boleh mengeratkan lagi tali persaudaraan kite..wakakakak

Seriously, I prefer sharing pics, ideas in here rather than in FB. Below is my MS Chassis collection. Still waiting for Thundershot Black Special to re-release back. Not worth paying RM100 over just to get a plastic toys. Hehehe

For screws and bolts they don't pay much attention to 'em. So pandai2 lah nk cover.

For bearings, I don't think the cheaper one sold at any bearing shop looks the same as the 620 and 830.
Brought 830 and 620 to a local bearing shop, they got the same dimensions but the inner cover, sleeves shape is not the same.

For 520, 9mm, 11mm, 13mm I'm not sure, but for 620 and 830, pretty hard to match 'em with local one.

I think they concern more on the imitation parts like the HGs, 13/19mm rollers, wheels, etc.

The scrutineer at the KLIMS race take 2 3 looks at my 3mm front and rear HGs.
I'm not worried as semua ori maa~

Tried the large dia. 5 spokes already?
5 spokes got longer inner tube than the SXX 3 spokes.
Trimmed 'em myself.
Took an hour for a set of 4.
Need to get rotary tool baru cepat.

See that Super 1 with SX/SXX wheel?
Put tire you wanna trim on the wheel, very sharp blade + some lube, trim it.
Then finishing touches with sandpapers to finalize the surface and dimension.

Need a very steady hand if you want to use the blade method so that you wont overcut the tire and your hand.

If not, use sandpapers. It'll consume hours of work and lotsa batteries to be used.

It'll be much faster if you had a rotary tool in hand.
Didn't time my session. Just wanna do some RnD on the new setup.

Completed the course once the batteries weakened a bit..

I just brought the car with just some basic tools and stuff.
For the time being, nope.
A bit time consuming with just using the Super 1 chassis.
If got time and got tires to trim, maybe..
