QUOTE(skool87 @ Nov 3 2011, 12:26 PM) guyz, can help me how to built the brake for front and rear....if got pictures more appreciate...still thinking how to make the brake... It's hard to describe...using some long screw, aluminium bushes to extend lower the frp reinforce plate as brake but clearance must be more than 1mm....or use HG or some other kind of Frp stay to stack on top the FRP reinforce plate....it has many kind of different way to set the brakes....for more info, search in google tamiya mini 4wd technical course....there got a lot pic to view... |

QUOTE(the crow R @ Nov 4 2011, 12:56 PM) Hi bro, Bravo!! Sifu sounds really like sifu!! My car gear are standard, not modify at all, just buy & installed. My suggestion is play everything with STANDARD first, until you feel that you yourself are ready to move to the modification stage.... IMO, a not proper modification method will never better than a STANDARD installation. IMO A standard car can be smooth as below tips: 1) Ensure car chassis are fine. 2) Ensure motor output depend on track format. (More rpm less torque or more torque less rpm or both?) 3) Ensure current flow are good. Eg. battery contact, battery terminal, motor to terminal contact... 4) Ensure car moving parts are smooth & clean as possible. Eg. Gears, wheel bearing... 5) Ensure wheel shaft, wheels, tyres are straight & align as possible. 6) Ensure tyres are clean & oil free. 7) Ensure rollers are smooth & clean as possible. 8) Study front roller degree setting depend on track format. 9) Confident (Never give up) All above just IMO.....Its just a basic knowledge to start with. I also keep learning everyday....from TU senior member & in forum always. For me always from a thinking to a questions, from a questions to a research, from a research to a development, from a development to a test, from a test to a success. (no short cut) Hope my opinion did helps. Many tks. Cheers! |

Hi bro,i don't think got anyone can hit 16 or 17secs in this lay out...hahaha....may be end of 18sec or mid of 18sec can be success but i could say it is very difficult n very high risk coz the car might over jump or fail to counter LC This post has been edited by MS Pro Pink Panther: Nov 8 2011, 01:10 PM |
