Tamiya use different product number for each item you know. Look at the picture above, all are same product number, not logic at all.

how much is the current market price for HG aluminium large diameter wheels? the 4 bijik set blue color one. trying to survey on yahoo auction for those good deal ones. my friend looking for a set.

the custom one in the pic above is selling at RM120, and still a lot of people were asking for it

powdercoat will give a matte finish. not sure what kind of paint to use to make it shiny like Tamiya produced, which is more like anodized.

Impulsive purchase -- just ordered Thundershot Pink Special

Newbie here using MA, currently stock waiting for parts. It's a Heat Edge... but I'm getting Avante Mk.III Nero White body to replace the red Heat Edge body.

landing from jump isn't slightly more weight in the front better? because the nose would dive first and make the body landing position flat (naturally when it jumps nose normally up).

you use reinforced shaft already?

so, front slightly heavier is always good for landing stability lah right?

any explanation?

MA/MS is almost balanced front & rear
Others are more rear heavy due to motor position.

but if we go for balanced setup, choosing MA/MS is too easy. there must be something else lol.

if i am using ma/ms chassis, when do i ever need a 72mm shaft?

those imitation FRP plates can use for competition ah?

How about generic screws/bolts/nuts/bearings? Sometimes it's just difficult to distinguish them.


I was able to score Thundershot Pink Special for ok-ok price (RM60-ish including shipping) on eBay.
The Black Special is tempting, but I am also not willing to pay hundreds for this type of thing. Hopefully there will be a re-release.

Anybody using large diameter tires on MA chassis?

any problem with the clearance at the chassis near the battery part?

i want to get some large diameter tires, but not sure which one would have the correct clearance.
tried the 30th anniv. Super X/XX wheels... doesn't fit


After weeks... I still haven't finished doing my mini4wd yet. All the parts I wanted to use either quickgrabbed by my friends or other folks around here till I left with nothing.
Even when I keep buying new stuffs, I could keep anything for myself lol.

I still need my red 13mm alu red ringless, a set of large diameter wheels and motor.
