report of our jump race

and some PICS

i took the 8th time in expert class and 5th in top, but after a fly out in the final session i finished 6th...
user posted image
for me the hardest part was the rebound after slope in (someone said no hangin dampers?), but many people failed the triple jump after start: if the mini doesn't jump straight, will hit the other jump on the side! for the first time i saw a mini do a 360° in the air and land in the track!

question: you super super speed race will be with LC bridge or rainbow?
*
Our SUPER SUPER high speed race is rainbow LC brows.gif .....n might be able to reach 10m/sec with MACH DASH & eneloop 2000MAH rclxm9.gif

with a proper layout, 10m/s is possible also with HDP! I hope to have a speed layout also here next month!
*
Yes yes.....true! It depend on the lay out! Pls don mind me asking a question! In that video, is that speed really reach up to 10m/sec? That speed in video doesn't look really fast but IMO may be that video is capture far away so it look not really high speed. May I know what is the length in that lay out, how many straights n corner? Got time attack? What fastest time attack? Mind telling me bro? icon_rolleyes.gif

the car was this one

but, as you see in the video, the straight section was impressive long! in normal speed tracks we run about 9m/s.
actually MDP is not admitted in Expert class, but only in TOP (with 8 rollers and modified gear ratio), so is hard to compare

I love your Astute body paint job... notworthy.gif

Also in that lay out the video u post, MDP might be able to reach 11m/sec IMO! Never try before with such long straights... doh.gif

this layout 250meters, they are using 25 sec to complete it, so it's 10m/s...

Thanks bro! rclxms.gif

ok. thanks for the suggestion. Still have to buy the double layer frp. will test this sunday if this will cross the bridge with brakes front and rear. biggrin.gif
*
Hi bro,
This sunday super speed track lay out is rainbow LC, not bridge LC....the current setting u did is very difficult to counter bridge LC even with brake unless the speed is slow enough....just set it to longer length..the lay out for this sunday is not suitable with this set up coz too many lollipop corners together...just remove parts that make the car heavy like dampers n brake...try to set it as light as light possible in between 80-90gram....cheers!!! biggrin.gif

but the RC cells that we use for italian/speed tracks are too powerful for jumps... manage jumps over 6m/s is quite impossible!
*
The RC cell is how many V after fully charged? Actually, the over jump, high or low jumping can be set in different way....

Added on November 23, 2011, 7:44 pmThe Eneloop lite purchase order is close...thanks from guys that r supporting!! cheers!!

What motor people uses nowadays? other than custom of course.
*
Malaysian RnR can only use up to Sprint Dash for rear motor chasis n for ms-pro can only use up to the latest motor release not long ago which is Mach Dash Pro, MDP is the fastest speed among all PRO motor n Sprint Dash is the fastest speed among all rear motor chasis used n also faster speed than MDP. So now is time to think whether what kind of chasis u prefer....welcome back! icon_rolleyes.gif
