very long time haven't posted here

i got 2 years from sony (free) + 1 year from sony as well, for an xtra RM 220 = total warranty 3 years

(for a77, sorry if out of the story)

facing this situation before, but they ask me to bring along the body along after service, instead of having to go home and pickup the body on the same day

eh, previously my a200 got steadyshot 'bar', where it's best to shoot when only 1 bar displayed. now no more ka in A77 ? or am i outdated already ?

usually they just need the serial number to check the warranty period (based on my true story)

I set the Auto Review option to ON ; it will display 'Processing...' i think for less than a second, right after the shutter button is released, and it occurs only if I shoot other than RAW (Quality) ... i am using a cap ayam class 10 sdcard, will the sandisk 30MB/s eliminate the 'Processing...' thing ?

::: after rethinking about this, I assume that the 'Processing...' is not related to the memory card at all because it doesn't occur with RAW image (meaning A77 Bionz is really processing the image taken to JPEGs). Please correct me if I am wrong

I switched them off, still the same. Fortunately, after reformatting my SD card, no more 'Processing...'

Hmmm, it must be the card then

My current card is real slow in saving all those 24Mpx, need a better card, I think 95MB/s 90MB/s is far beyond my reach

sometime i wish i have both EVF and OVF on my camera (can be switchd between them with a touch of a button) ... hehehe

it's all up to you, the photog. The difference in focal length is quite significant, and as for me, I love the 35mm as a walk-around lens compared to the tighter 50mm which i think is better for portraiture

Hey guys, have you ever seen this 'brownish thing' in your photo taken with A77 :










I think my A77's sensor is faulty la huhu, now the frequency of getting like-the above photos is double ! even worse, now the 'brownish thing' covering all over the photo, not only at the edges.

hey guys, anyone here owns the tamron 70-300mm 4-5.6 USD lens ? what's the market price for this lens ? any significant difference, optically, compared with sony G 70-300mm ?

they will only check from their database regarding your warranty status...

unless you have a proof (warranty extension, different date of purchase etc) that shows different record from their database
