QUOTE(NutZ748 @ Nov 1 2011, 03:38 PM) hmm the extended warrantee i bought is from few retailer only...if nt mistaken he told me the extended warrantee is from ENATA, FOTOKEM and etc. i got 2 years from sony (free) + 1 year from sony as well, for an xtra RM 220 = total warranty 3 yearsi bought the extended warrantee for RM180 means its 1(from Sony Malaysia) + 2(from FOTOKEM) years (for a77, sorry if out of the story) albnok : thanks, now im funding for glasses to pair with my new baby This post has been edited by gizmo_pony: Nov 1 2011, 06:49 PM |

QUOTE(Hico @ Nov 2 2011, 06:40 PM) i sent the lens for cleaning (last month) during warranty period.. however, due to the serial number of the lens was not written on the resit (only the body's serial number is noted) , they requested me to send in the body together facing this situation before, but they ask me to bring along the body along after service, instead of having to go home and pickup the body on the same day |

QUOTE(NutZ748 @ Nov 2 2011, 07:48 PM) HOLY SH*T!!! the EYESSSS sharp like blade!!! usually they just need the serial number to check the warranty period (based on my true story)nice model also Added on November 2, 2011, 7:49 pm how if my lens(bought used but still under warrantee) send to clean? i mean they still need serial number and the buyer's IC? the warrantee isnt registered under my name Added on November 2, 2011, 8:38 pm QUOTE(8tvt @ Nov 2 2011, 08:32 PM) nothing This post has been edited by gizmo_pony: Nov 2 2011, 08:38 PM |

QUOTE(albnok @ Nov 3 2011, 02:43 AM) gizmo_pony: Wah, I didn't notice this also, that the A77 has no SteadyShot bar displayed! maybe because i rely too much on it before zstan: SteadyShot only works while recording video and during still picture exposure. If Optical SteadyShot did work during Live View, we'd have a very hot sensor that shuts down after 9 minutes. fansoption: I find the insect's shadow interesting. What if you made a macro shot that purposely shows the shape of the shadow? Maybe in a scary way? I set the Auto Review option to ON ; it will display 'Processing...' i think for less than a second, right after the shutter button is released, and it occurs only if I shoot other than RAW (Quality) ... i am using a cap ayam class 10 sdcard, will the sandisk 30MB/s eliminate the 'Processing...' thing ? ::: after rethinking about this, I assume that the 'Processing...' is not related to the memory card at all because it doesn't occur with RAW image (meaning A77 Bionz is really processing the image taken to JPEGs). Please correct me if I am wrong This post has been edited by gizmo_pony: Nov 3 2011, 07:26 AM |

QUOTE(albnok @ Nov 3 2011, 02:46 PM) gizmo_pony: I have not tried the A77 with slower cards. Even with the Sandisk Extreme Pro 45MB/s read, 45MB/s write, it isn't all that fast. The ideal would be the Sandisk 95MB/s read, 90MB/s write SD card. I switched them off, still the same. Fortunately, after reformatting my SD card, no more 'Processing...' Maybe you have a Creative Style or HDR mode that causes longer JPG processing? Hmmm, it must be the card then My current card is real slow in saving all those 24Mpx, need a better card, I think 95MB/s 90MB/s is far beyond my reach |

QUOTE(KingKo @ Nov 13 2011, 01:07 PM) it's all up to you, the photog. The difference in focal length is quite significant, and as for me, I love the 35mm as a walk-around lens compared to the tighter 50mm which i think is better for portraiture |

they will only check from their database regarding your warranty status...
unless you have a proof (warranty extension, different date of purchase etc) that shows different record from their database |
