are u on admin - admin?
if so try restore default or reflash the firmware (THROUGH CABLE)
Mine works absolutely fine
Recommend to use setup wizard at the 1st place

Yes, is login with ID and PW on admin mode.

restore to default and refresh the firmware many times thru cable but still could not get the wireless sidebar settings. Same to start setup with wizard as well.

Hi forumers, would like to get your opinions about TM's modems. I previously had a TM Modem that came with firmware which I believe is SEA 1.00. Recently I was at another of my family's place, which just applied for a broadband and the Modem is exactly the same model, DSL-2640B but it came with another type of firmware, as the settings website is different. It is GE_0.17. Now, I would prefer the old SEA firmware because I feel it's more configurable. Can you guys tell me which actually is the newer version of the firmware, GE_0.17 or SEA 1.00? And, would it be recommended if I flash the GE_0.17 to SEA 1.00 or something newer, ie. SEA 1.XX?

If I wanted to do flashing, I only found this webpage.
http://www.dlink.com.my/support/support_detail.asp
But it cautioned that "Do NOT upgrade your device with these firmware if you have purchased a D-Link product out of South East Asia." Does this cause problem to me if I use their firmware? (Both modems are TM's.)

Thank you.
