any of you guys having problem with serious battery draining issue?
sometimes when i check my battery usage, it shows display is eating up most of my battery juice, it can go up as high as 80%!

I've always set my brightness to the dimmest, off auto-brightness, Standard screen mode

I even try to reboot my phone and the display is still draining my battery

What i understand that how much percentage is how long you used the service.if you on your display to sms, browsing, display percentage will be higher.regardless you set the brightness to highest or lowest.do correct me if I'm wrong

problem is i've restart my phone, kill all apps and let the phone idle for awhile, and the display percentage still remain that high

The battery usage graph/bar is based on percentage. If you use your phone then normally the display will be sitting on the top (highest percentage). If you just leave you phone idle for a long time then your Android system and phone idle time will be at the top. There's nothing to be worried if your display sitting on the top.
Touch the display bar and see how long is your total screen on time.?

I have, Spider-Foot (same type as dealextreme/obostore). Advertised capacity is an OUTRIGHT LIE, true capacity is about 2400mah. The old ones are okay, new ones have shit capacity (2100mah). Most seem prone to losing max capacity over long term use. They ARE CHEAP though.

Dunno about Mugen, but from initial experiments over at XDA, their 3500mah batts seem to ONLY hold about 2400-2600mah as well (for RM300). They might last longer without losing max cap though.

Better stick to Momax 2700mah (true capacity 2680mah) or ori Samsung 2000mah. I have both and recommend the Momax ONLY if you can stand the bulging, cheap plastic back. But battery performance is outstanding and it's considerably cheaper then the Samsung ori too, if you can buy from ebay.

thanks for the great info
guess what, my friend just came back from hk and shen zhen and he cannot manage to find any mugen battery, funny
