Sorry that I have a simple question.

Just got my SGS2 from Digi just now.
Just wonder what is the lattest Stock ROM?
Should I upgrade it before I start using it?

Thanks!!

Which Plan u go for?
RM68 or RM48?
Do u think Digi is more worthy than Celcom?
why?

I go for the RM48 Plan.
Actually I don't know which is better. I just go to Digi Centre and got this phone.

What Nokia model did you used.??

I'm switching from N97 mini.

I have been using PC Suit to export the contacts, but when I import into Samsung Kies, it only manage to grab the names, but no phone numbers at all. Don't mention the other details.

I have also tried coping to the SIM Card, but I have about 300+ contacts. sweat.gif

One more question,
Is it recommended to update my firmware from
PDA:KI1/PHONE:KI1/CSC:KI1 (XME) to PDA:KJ2/PHONE:KJ2/CSC:KJ2 (XME)?
Any bugs in the new version? hmm.gif

I check it using KIES, and it says there's a new version for me to update.\

look for a program call "grab my contacts"
after install the icon looks like a yellow fishing jacket.
it will grab whatever you have and put into excel file.
though i dunno why ..... probably nokia's fault ..... the contacts it grab is kinda outdated even after i update on ovi it doesn't grab the latest contacts info....so i guess better 50% than nothing.....but i haven't transfer from excel to sgs2 yet coz still editing the excel.

i converting all to +60 laugh.gif

I suggest that you use PC Suit to export them. I can manage to export all of them, but it's just I can't import them into my SGS2. Of course, I'm using KIES... blush.gif

Can you mark all your contacts > send as business card > via bluetooth.
Last time i also use N97 mini and i think i transferred all my contacts by using bluetooth. All contacts name and details was intact.

Normal battery comes FREE with the phone :-P
If you need to buy a spare original battery:-
1650mAh - RM89
2000mAh - RM139

I don't know y I cannot send it via Bluetooth. rclxub.gif
I was actually planning to use this method.
May be becoz I rooted the phone last time.

Been trying to look around to find the way to type Chinese in this phone.
I have installed Google Pinyin, but how to I do the setting in the keyboard?
Or should I use other apps?
