Just converted from BB family. Bought the new white SGS2 G model for myself and my wife. Wow its such a battery killer.
And being a G model, another killer factor. Love the phone but... |

The browser is quite fast even on my EDGE connection. And youtube is quite smooth too. Rarely buffer.
Still depends to telco coverage etc. For a SGS2 newb, my main concern now is the battery life. My batt was at 50% when I went to sleep, then woke up to a battery alert, 9% already!!! |

Using G version but dont take my word really quick. Need to investigate.
Anybody else using G version? Any comment on the battery? |

Settings > Wireless and network > Mobile networks > Network mode > GSM only or EDGE or WCDMA only for 3G. |
