People should stop using quadrant. It is not optimized for dual core.

lol, i know quadrant means nothing but just a number or a reference.. i only compare before and after with different kernels, they can make it 5+++ or even 6+++(mentioned in xda thread) with the latest kernel dk, to me, it means they have improved something on the kernel. just my 2cens.

Two words. RAM caching. AngeleROM used to do the same crap. Not that it matters, my view on Quadrant is similar to master Hacre:
Please people. Do yourself a favour and use Antutu if you NEED to quantify your NEED FOR SPEED that badly.

sadly, our master Hacre no longer with xda.. blush.gif

Its smoother because the second core was kicking in too often.

I am trying lulzactive and smartassV2 with single core. I usually use ondemandX on default dual core.

antt00, you mean i have to add setting in setcpu profiles? or only set the Governor in the default profile? how to view whether is running single or dual core? need to install app?

Yes

I use voltage control to change governor. You need tegrak dual core app to change to single core. Flashing only the kernel will not give you single core. Its free on the market.

Dunno can monitor or not. I change kernel too often because of gokhan and also changing governors and stuff. Better you try out yourself and evaluate cos my usage and yours will be different.

ok, installed. which setting? dynamic or single core mode?

Dynamic is normal/default. Single core is single core la. Dual core is always running 2 core all the time.

thanks.
