got pimeta to compare this amp to

using standard components recommended by tangent, maybe around 300-400.

but if using lipo battery and custom enclosure (like i did), you might ended up in the RM600 price range

using ad8620, pimeta is very neutral and transparant. neutral with a hint of brightness. speed is very good. no hiss even with phonak or my low impedance im716

i once owned RSA Protector and to me pimeta is the better amp

plus, this thing drives my hd580 effortlessly with ipod as the source
