QUOTE(Syfq @ Nov 9 2011, 01:15 PM) same situations here QUOTE(ronaldkh @ Nov 9 2011, 01:23 PM) Not that bad already. 5% drop every 2 hours when idle I guess. my baterry drops from 97% to 32% during sleep hours..about 6 hours.. But when play games, fuyoh drain damn fast! any other things that you do for your battery life? or the drain is because of the battery itself..the battery already 16 month of age Added on November 9, 2011, 12:43 pm QUOTE(VinceLee @ Nov 9 2011, 12:49 PM) Galnet MIUI ICS Build for I9000 is out!!! how about you try it first and share the result here http://galnetmiui.co.uk/landing/download/ics-builds/ Added on November 9, 2011, 12:00 pmseems like no problem for this rom according to this: http://www.galnetmiui.co.uk/landing/forums...r-no-one-try-it This post has been edited by fAr3z: Nov 9 2011, 12:43 PM |

QUOTE(ronaldkh @ Nov 9 2011, 02:00 PM) Wow yours drain so fast! already applied this stepI change the modem to XXJVT for fun lol, and I don't think it's because of the battery (mine is 13 months of age). Maybe got background apps running? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « with autokiller preset to LOST..the result still same..are you using miui with thunderbolt!? QUOTE(ronaldkh @ Nov 9 2011, 03:39 PM) will try thunderbolt later onQUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Nov 9 2011, 03:50 PM) mine battery life also quite sarks actually. i also set the timeout to never..but i always lock the screen when not using the phone..but leaving it idle during sleeping is ok with me... 29% at 12am.. woke up at 7am... it still has around 22%. yesterday encounter this battery drain from 72% to 33% in 2 hours. It happened because i accidentally set the screen timeOut duration from 1mins to Never~ is it not same? lock phone != screen timeout? |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 13 2011, 11:57 PM) It depends on whether you want to use your phone for multitasking or performance. 50MB is the middle ground. will try the 50MB sqlite_optimize for both i9000/CM7/MIUI. It will have some errors as well. That's normal. just want to clarify this first, do i need to follow all instructions if i'm on the miui rom with talon kernel? or i can just start with step 5? Instructions 1. Copy the CWM zip to your internal sdcard 2. Mount /data and /system in CWM (IMPORTANT!) 3. Install using CWM 4. Wait for bootup 5. Open up Script Manager and launch /sdcard/bolt_scripts/remount_{*} as Root and as Boot. This is done because on Voodoo lagfix, Voodoo will remount the partitions again later after init.d scripts finished launching hence reverting the mounts to stock lagfix mounts. The script then has to be launched only after the Android OS has launched. One way is to use Script Manager. 6. Open up Script Manager and launch /sdcard/bolt_scripts/sqlite_optimize. This script can be used arbitrarily at anytime that you want. Don't load it as boot or copy it to init.d though, it'll significantly slow down your boot up as the script is a very long running script. 7. ???? 8. PROFIT |
