i downloaded stock JVZ from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377396
upon un-rar the file, there are total of 4 files: APBOOT_I9000XWJVZ_CL762604_REV03_user_low_ship.tar - 2,181kb CODE_I9000XWJVZ_CL762604_REV03_user_low_ship.tar - 284,984kb GT-I9000-CSC-HOME-MULTI-OXAJVT.tar - 9,761kb MODEM_I9000XXJVT_REV_00_CL1064602.tar - 12,291kb 1. Edit: APBOOT -> bootloader file. what do i do with this? 2. from JVR to JVZ, i dont have to flash the pit file right (Flash with re-partition UNTICKED)? 3. In odin: CSC goes to CSC CODE goes to ??? MODEM goes to ??? cheers. used to do it often. look what happen to me now. Lol thx guys! This post has been edited by cradle0fFilth: Dec 14 2011, 09:26 PM |

pikachu.
i m on simplicity 2.1 i remember the dev said that theirs ROM is fast enuf as they also include the supercharged script or something, thus not recommended to install others script (eg thunderbolt). so, just wondering is there much difference between urs and simplicity's? thx bro |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Dec 21 2011, 10:14 PM) Yes. Simplicity's enable some tweaks that actually slow down the performance of the ROM. And it's based on an old version of ThunderBolt! (although hofinho doesn't want to admit that). okies.lets say i flash the 2.2.0, do i need to flash the add-ons? sry cuz i din reli pay attention much to ur thread.. n the explaination was like... damn long! =P |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Dec 23 2011, 09:20 AM) Semaphore app is just to enable netfilter/OC/UV/SIO/smartassV2. Other than that, don't use it to tweak your phone as it will clash with ThunderBolt!. pikachu, currently my setting in semaphore app: OC/UC = 1000* (no OC / UC) governers = ondemand* schedulers = no-op* low memory killer = 48mb (default) SD card read ahead = 128kb (default) touchscreen = sensitive (chainfire) besides the above, i didnt enable anything is this ok, pikachu? thx bro |

QUOTE(ic3joker @ Dec 25 2011, 11:03 PM) why not? build 11 is totally awesome! best build ever. How to nandroid back up haha? Any1?install BLN apps from market to enable it. Its on first page it is better to do a nandroid backup (although i never do it. LOL!) nandroid backup everything from your current rom include apps+data+setting. when you flash back using nandroid everything will back to your current status. |
