Flash the restore pack then flash 1.7.2.

Yes, the addons can be flashed if you want to. It's optional. Read the original post for more info smile.gif

oh thanks!

Libsqlite file is for : Patched libsqlite that disables the need to fsync. Extremely fast database writes.]

Quasi-charger is alr in the thunderbolt script rite?

Yes, I added this to OP:
sqlite_optimize script will produce errors like deformed database or unknown collation sequence or /datadata not found or /dbdata not found. It's normal, it means that these databases are not sqlite compatible, hence erroring out (skipped) and /dbdata is only on i9000 while /datadata is on CM7/MIUI. Had to put two of them inside
*
so there is nothing to worry if i get database malformed error when running that?
will anything goes wrong?

Did you you other tweaks installed when you installed ThunderBolt!? This is because, free RAM shouldn't fall below 40MB as the LMK is tuned quite aggressively to be above 46MB at least, with 60MB being its optimum level.
*
nope... jz do as u said, flash restore n flash the newest ThunderBolt..
now my phone is smooth after flash restore... blink.gif

u can flash custom kernels using Odin, just load the tar file into PDA section. then u'll get CWM to flash the zip. if u wanna go back to stock for warranty reason, just reflash the whole rom smile.gif  make sure the kernel u flash is intended for ur rom, like Froyo/Gingerbread/CM7/MIUI. refer to the 1st page on how to flash

good to hear that, nw enjoy the speed of lightning!! thumbup.gif  shouldn't it be LightningBolt hmm.gif  well, who cares laugh.gif
*
i mean without Thunderbolt, my phone is fast... lol...
was using 1.6 without problem..
but since switch to 1.7.2, my phone is a bit laggy...
after change to 1.8 is damn laggy....
remove thunderbolt, it's smooth...
Other than changing thunderbolt version i did nothing with the semaphore script manager....

Hmmm, weird. How about installing it without the addons?
*
IC... will try that and report back...
without thunderbolt, my phone wil start sluggish after 1 day...
last time with thunderbolt 1.6,
my phone was smooth for 2 days plus until the moment i restart the phone...

Probably corruption? sad.gif

Try reflashing the ROM and then not flashing the patched libsqlite.
*
u mean my libsqlite might be corrupted?? sad.gif
reflash ROM is jz flash rom without wiping anything rite?

You can flash all 3 if you're using i9000. Fsync is a sync command that makes sure all uncommitted data is written to the disk.
Agh, didn't know that you're on CM7. The latest CM7 is incompatible with ThunderBolt!.
*
pikachu,
If i flash the libsqlite addon, but i didn't run the sqlite optimize script,
is it means that it does nothing?

Both are doing different things. You can do either one or both. smile.gif

The patched libsqlite having a slight risk of corruption (that is recoverable).
*
oh ic...
because when i test for SD read and write,
with sqlite patch is faster...
Tat's why wondering want to flash back my sqlite or not..
btw, i've tested to only flash thunderbolt script,
the LMK working properly now...
not lag like before alr...
now u got new one, i gotta flash new one again.. haha... tongue.gif

Just make it into a script, apply it onto /system/etc/init.d. Give it rwxrwxrwx permissions. It'll be permanent. Semaphore's 50MB cache tweak also does this.

Pika, the Governor of choice is hints for us to choose to use which combination in the screenstate scaling??
It's not included in the main thunderbolt zip is it?

EDIT: Oh saw combination 1 n 2 no need to edit the screenstate scaling..
COrrect? nod.gif

Best is modding a stock ROM from scratch so that you yourself know what changed.

I.e. from stock -> custom kernel -> custom theme -> lagfix -> ThunderBolt!
*
Ic.. when i use stock rom i from stock -> custom kernel -> lagfix -> ThunderBolt!

but still not smooth enough...
even though using the same custom kernel.

there is only one time i feel that stock rom is smooth
which i think was on XXJVS with ThunderBolt 1.9.2 i think.
