I think cuz no one is reporting the insufficient bug thingy thats why the developers never really fix it...its sooooo irratating as most of my games are kinda huge....

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Nov 20 2011, 01:05 AM) I can't find the link at the moment, but I had written the steps down: The steps must be repeated everytime I restart my phone rite eg.if the phone auto reboots..su rm -R /cache mkdir /sdcard/cache/ ln -s /sdcard/cache /cache exit * change is effective until you reboot the phone * Although I dun really understand how to apply those steps..it does not seem to be a permanent solution.. |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 20 2011, 11:14 AM) Just make it into a script, apply it onto /system/etc/init.d. Give it rwxrwxrwx permissions. It'll be permanent. Semaphore's 50MB cache tweak also does this. Haha..I wish I had the skills to do those..but I'm a normal user dun noe about programming and stuff.Interested though.. |

Anybody noticed certain apps are not compatible anymore with our phone?
eg.Crime Story,Samurai II Vengeance I wanted to try Wind-Up Knight I saw from a Galaxy S review but under the internet browser it says imcompatible...-.- den how did the reviewer reviewed it wif his sgs... Apparently I read from the Samurai II description devices such as Galaxy S must be at least gingerbread if not cannot download apps above 30mb.. Im still on Simplicity 0.40...gingerbread...XXJVR...too old? This post has been edited by Scorch6: Nov 21 2011, 09:59 PM |

First photographer, then angry bird (blue), then all those hamsap traps ICS's great right? I flashed it last nite too! The appdrawer still a bit choppy. Waiting for them to fix those issues |

QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Nov 27 2011, 05:01 PM) It seems good enough to be my daily rom. If fm radio, bluetooth headset, video recording is important, just do a nandroid restore. Interesting....but still...really nid to restore apps from TB...so I guess I'll wait till its stable =DOtherwise, it is a major improvement over gingerbread. I'll be testing its battery life. Install (coming from cm7 nightlies) - wipe everything - I had to flash the rom twice. - reboot - flash gapps short review: - first loop of boot animation was laggy, subsequent animation was smooth - almost all ui transition are smooth, screen rotation gives a nice animation. some stuttering are present. - no file manager, so either include a file manager apk into the .zip file or download from the market. - no idea which note taking app widget which works with ICS - tried restoring some apps from TB, doesn't work. need to update - not all live wallpapers are included - not a cyanogenmod, so no extra things like call blacklist and others More info please. What are the things that resetted actually? |

QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Nov 27 2011, 06:47 PM) of course, since everything is wiped in the first step. latest TB restores my apps+data without a problem, except for plants vs zombies. Oh I tot u meant can't restore the apps lol. Hmm..I shall try it after my coming exam If you have fast internet connection, you can let google to automatically download all the apps (but not data I think) for you. |
