hey pikachu, your thunderbolt is just script right? so what happens if i update my ROM, will it be wiped and must reinstall again? or what if i install kernels such as Neo? currently i am on stock CM7 kernel, so which file to DL and any settings i must do? Thanks! Would really love to try out ur script as CM7 is smooth, but after awhile, it starts to stutter especially launching app or scrolling the homescreen.

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 11 2011, 12:15 AM) It's a combination of scripts and tweaks. If you use a nowipe or wipe ROM, you have to reinstall it. Just follow the instructions at the OP of the thread and choose the files to your liking. The description of each is detailed in the OP of the thread. thanks, after reading the thread, can i flash all 3? 3G+lib+bin? and what is fsync? |

QUOTE(mendoksei @ Nov 11 2011, 10:28 PM) @pika, read ur post.. wanna ask you between 40 , 50 n 60mb LMK which 1 is more suitable for general use? thanks alot... based on general knowledge, i think 40mb would allow more multitasking where as 60mb is more for smooth transition.. i might be wrong though. |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 11 2011, 10:37 PM) I'm not sure. I don't have a device to test this. I would need testers to test whether it is compatible with CM7. If you are willing to test it, please download it and install. Be sure to have a nandroid backup handy as this may/will make your device unbootable. what would you recommend? just the 1.9 itself? or can flash the 3 add-ons? from previous encounter, i just reflash CM7 and everything back to normal except my WhatsApp msgs, it became corrupted.. others still intact. 50MB is what I'm using right now, and yes, 40MB for multitasking, 50MB in between and 60MB for smooth transitions. EDIT: v1.9 still doesn't work for CM7. I've mount /system and /data but didnt mount /datadata. This post has been edited by - JaY -: Nov 11 2011, 10:54 PM |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 12 2011, 01:10 AM) Try test2: hey no problem man.. but after did several tries, my battery from 70% went all the way to 18%, then now slowly climbing back to 23%, should i do a batt wipe when charged full? or just leave it to auto recalibrate? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...&postcount=1298 Only if you're willing to test. UPDATE: Same, still stuck with Test2 This post has been edited by - JaY -: Nov 12 2011, 01:28 AM |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 12 2011, 01:34 AM) Yup, flashing through CWM messes up the battery stats a bit actually. You can just charge full again and then recalibrate. No problem for me as I've experienced this a lot of times. OK! IT BOOTS! Here's Test3. I'm getting close >.< http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...&postcount=1299 |

those on CM7 do you face this problem? Whenever someone calls, you pick it up, but no sound, the person who called can hear you, but you can't hear the person who called. I've been experiencing this for about 2 months already.. at first suspect my area line sucks, but even in KL also happens.. This only happens when someone called me, if I called someone, never had this problem.

QUOTE(ic3joker @ Nov 19 2011, 01:08 PM) yes! i did experience this from the first day i back to cm7. from what i know this is not because of the rom but our network provider. cm7 developer say that our network provider is using old software(something like that). try reflash modem. hmm this is bad right? imagine u have to call someone back everytime.. or wait for their 2nd call.. tried reflashing modem already.. u still experiencing it? |
