I just manage to update to Stock_XXJVU.
I found that it actually didn't delete my data in the internal and external memory. Should I format it and make it run like new? or just keep it? |

i tried to play asphalt HD yesterday. knowing that it will lag, i close almost all apps and started to play. it went on smooth at 1st but with the occasionally lagging here and there.. Trouble came when after 10 mins, the screen froze! can hear the sound.. but it stop after awhile. i cant do anythin except plucking out the batt and putting it back to restart my phone.
to all gamers, is this the sign of 'not enuf RAM'? my phone was not reli that hot then, tho currently still simplicity 2.1.1, semaphore 2.5 kernel and thunderbolt 2.4 (with all latest script) i will try gamerzrom 4.0, but just curious wat went wrong.. (i seldom game so might not know the wat nots and etc..) cheers! hope to seek your advice.. |

QUOTE(aiman39 @ Jan 26 2012, 05:41 PM) Yup, i do factory reset. Then able to install without any issue. So far it is ok. But i think the 3.0.1 is smoother. no need do factory reset.juz pull out the battery and put back then ok ord.feel 4.0 drains battery very fastThis post has been edited by samsungXP: Jan 27 2012, 12:17 AM |

Flashed glitch yesterday over stock CM7.1 kernel.
Used voltage control to tweak the voltages because battery drain is an issue. OCed to 1.2ghz UV 800mhz to 1.2ghz , -50mV Everything else at -25mV steps. Seems stable, no FCs, ran quadrant a few times without issues. Will see how battery life is over the course of a week. |

Need help from all the sifu here. My gf just received a used Samsung Galaxy i9000 from her brother-in-law who happen to stay @ Singapore. She brought it back from there now but the machine itself is locked with the message "Too many patterns attempt". The original phone owner is not the brother thus retrieving the right login info is out of the question.
After I did some research and read plenty of info, I found out the best way to reuse the phone is through hard reset. To make things complicated, I suspect this phone belongs to the batch that cannot be hard reset via the 3 buttons combo (LOL really FML) as I lost count on my attempts to hard reset the phone. I'm a newbie in Android phone and never use one before, so my question is, what should I do next ?? |
