anyone here using tesco magnatec oil>?? some say its made for european market... any issues using it here in all year summer Malaysia? does it boil etc? smile.gif hehe

but usually if u behind other car, be prepared or else buttsek.
no ppl want to say it is their fault, but law says culprit will always be the one from behind.
unless u can prove the front car is drove recklessly.

Currently using. blink.gif Boil? You think the minyak for frying meh. sweat.gif
Still OK now after 5K. Viscosity is still smooth. Will be changing it with Castrol Edge.

personally, i feel that the old european magnatec from tesco is a bit inferior compare to fresh local magnatec.
usually tesco is selling more than 6 months old engine oil, almost all of their engine oils including from mobil, shell etc also the same.

More than six months but still can be use. Engine oil don't expired so quickly.

No. If you change using original oil filter. Outside change only RM10 for labour charge.

If the lube is still sealed, 1 month, 6 month or 1 year old, there is really no difference. Once seal is broken tho and then re-tighten back bottle cap (ie, used 3.75liter, left 0.25 liter in bottle), can last 6 months on the shelf. After opened and kept for more than 6 months, lube might oxidised, use at your risk. So ALWAYS use the opened lube first during servicing and add in new lube after to make up 3.75 liter in engine. So you should always have less than 6 months opened lube balanced.

haha.. some ppl said that is only suitable for european weather.. since its more humid here, was just asking if it couldtake the heat..
