Not sure why.. many technician said semi or mineral only can last for 3months(below 5k mileage) While fully syntactic can last for 5-6months (below 10k mileage) Btw, I just finished washing my car with ONR.. QUOTE(vccy @ Nov 7 2011, 04:45 PM) the slot i mention was below the PE HU got 1 empty space to put anything you like, because it made in very thin material and no further support just rely on the fron panel to han it on, when vibration it will sound, just wrsp it with paper tape few round it to make it more strength, the vibration will be absorbed. |

QUOTE(Cavino @ Nov 7 2011, 07:41 PM) There's a lot of confusion on the speed limit. Please note that unlike cars such as vios and city, etc, PE comes with both auto and manual models. Those PE that can easily exceed 180km/h are usually manual with over 90+ usable HP. If we're comparing with vios which is an auto, we should compare it with our auto esp the H-Line. Normally can only go up to abt 180km/h with 70+ usable HP only. This post has been edited by ngeo88: Nov 7 2011, 08:16 PM |

QUOTE(vccy @ Nov 8 2011, 09:13 AM) matola is the manufacturer exhaust for proton. even the stock exhaust you now is from matola. i think so all are works products, but i'm doubts the fuel regulator, normally is use for turbo charged engine, without turbo the performance ..... will it have any side effect, like damage our original fuel injector..........wow not bad HU. no really useful. if you wan faster, then just step on more fuel. sam going to try soon i think. you can ask him. adjustable cam gear? adjustable cam pulley? not really recommend for auto. btw is the above all works engineering except the no 2? |

Review on Petronas Synthium 800 10w-40, use more than 10days, Performance (pick up, top speed) almost same like Castrol Magnetec, but not as smooth (idling vibration, sound) as Magnetec, FC abit higer than using Magnetec (+0.2 to +0.4L/100km), and the oil seems like turning colour very fast, now the engine oil start become golden colour. Anyway the crusing vibration + sound not significant, cold start is easy, after using this oil i got no problem on start more than 2 time only engine runing in hot day, cold day or the engine in hot condition. Previously using Castrol Edge fully synthetic always having problem that engine hard to start during hot weather or during engine still hot.
Castrol Edge fully synthetic 5w-40: Performance (pick up, top speed) : Good Smooth (idling vibration, sound) : Good FC :-0.2 to -0.4 L/100km Cold start : Fair (some time need crank 2 time) Hot day, engine in hot start : Bad (Always need to crank more that 2 time or more) Engine oil become golden colour : Fair (start become golden colour when 4k KM) Castrol Magnetec Semi synthetic 10w-40: Performance (pick up, top speed) : Fair Smooth (idling vibration, sound) : Fair FC :-0.1 to +0.2 L/100km Cold start : Good Hot day, engine in hot start : Fair (some time need crank 2 time) Engine oil become golden colour : Good (never become golden colour event 5k KM) Petronas Synthium 800 semi synthetic 10w-40 : Performance (pick up, top speed) : Fair Smooth (idling vibration, sound) : Fair FC :+0.2 to +0.4 L/100km Cold start : Good Hot day, engine in hot start : Good Engine oil become golden colour : Bad (start become golden colour less than 2k KM) This post has been edited by ngeo88: Nov 8 2011, 09:39 PM |

QUOTE(abong8 @ Nov 9 2011, 12:47 AM) To me, for the ETC, mainly related to the throttle response only, it definitely won't make your car more powerful. It only eliminates the throttle lag. So what if your throttle is d*mn responsive? Does it make your engine accelerate better? You're still having the same hp & torque from your engine. Its like cooking omelette using microwave instead of using normal frying pan.. |
