I assume you both just bought the game from recent promo right? I bought it from last July promo and there were quite lot of user having problem registering the CD-key, but it was patched later. So you guys need to have little bit of patience, let them sort out the auto update or whatever it is at their end. You can try browsing the official forum for troubleshooting, but it's hard to find which one specifically for your problem because there are quite large amount of complain threads on their forum.
Again, i suspect the always online DRM play a big part on this issue. Hence, lack or almost non-existence offline patch. The only offline patch that i found from google only for the skid row version.

The REALLY BIG BUNDLE from Indie Royale is up

user posted image

Now Serving:

*Really Big Sky
*Runespell: Overture
*Cthulhu Saves the World
*Eufloria
*[Bonus] Breath of Death VII

Those who pre-ordered or beat the minimum pricing should receive a link to the free promotional Disasterpeace soundtrack for download.

Note: According to an open letter from Indie Royale the "Big Bundle" does not refer to the quantity of games bundles but rather the 'scope' of one of the title.

I only like Runespell: Overture and had bought it during steam sales which is $2.50
Dun like the other games. At least save $1.50 plus save my library slot.

Nice ! Wanted to buy this during autumn sales but decided not to due to "too many games, no time" syndrome.

To be honest I'm getting burnt out from constant stream of indie bundles. I have to sit this one out, just like the second bundle of indieroyale. Need to plough through games that I bought from previous sales too.

I hate having games left unplayed.

This. Steam needs some time to resolve... whatever it is it's doing before you can click anything again. Usually happens to me when Steam is in the midst of downloading games/syncing.

You mean the whole 14GB ?

I'm currently having trouble launching the game after the 500MB patch. Steam shows the message saying This game is currently unavailable vmad.gif
