anyone is able to advise this? coz planning to get a forte; order it in nov-dec then only get the car and register it after jan. SA told me year of car is based on car manufacturer date, is this true?

if yes then how could we identify the year of manufacturer date by our own?

yes, it is based on manufacturing date

the date is stated in the JPJ registration card under - TAHUN DIBUAT

i think its not base on the manufacturing date of the car... if i'm not wrong its base on the clearance of tax date.. hmm hmm.gif maybe someone with better knowledge know bout it?

But the date stated in JPJ is correct de rclxms.gif

It is always based on manufacturing date.
Your car card clearly show it,
and second hand valuation always based on the manufacturing date to determine how old the car is.

The age of the car should be based on the manufacture year. Not the registration year.

Manufactured date lar...clearly stated on the Registration card, nothing to argue.

So if you're getting your car manufactured in Dec...make sure you get a good discount..otherwise you rugi one year car value immediately.
