i think i have spent almost a day figuring out how to register new business in its website and until now still have no access to it. I think they failed big time. There goes the tax payor money building a website that is so bad in it's infrastructure .

There are plenty of incompetent people building unuseable websites.
Not just government funded ones. But of course, most of this get no publicity, and nobody goes there.

Getting Started

i tried like 2-3 times then i give up.
according to them (those working at SSM - 16th floor of the Mall) it works, they even provide me a piece of obsolete instruction on how it can be done.
i even brought my laptop n broadband there to show how it CANT be done.
was surprise that non of them have any idea how to do it too.
only thing i manage to do successfully online with ssm is getting a business termination notice...

Added on October 28, 2011, 7:48 amfirst i thought because of browser compatibility . im using safari but then i move to firefox also the same thing, it doesn't work. than i google it and found an article which is great with step by step instruction but not detail enough and midway you are guided away in the same labyrinth back to where you start. According to the article, we need to pay a subscriber fee of RM5 , you will never find where the payment gateway is. It's not only that, I have already register to log in and when i try to request to apply in the ROB page, the pop-up said i must register first... WTF!!!!! GUESS WHAT GUYS. GOVT STILL INCREASE THEIR SALARIES FOR NOTHING . hi guys, I dont know much but i do face this before.
Ok here the problem.
The online system is a big failure, registered myself few months back and guess what stated there im not a bumiputra and my IC didnt work at all. I send an email to them and they do notice about this but cant do anything.
Its an online service no need any payment just register (according to them)
But my problem solved already because went straight away to SSM.

The so called "Smart" website, some more they keep advertise saying how ez to go online to register new company. EZ, My A**!!! I can't even get my activation email, and have sent out 8 emails to request them to activate my account + their phone numbers are always engaged. I have waited 2 weeks for them to activate my account.
**By the time this post is typing, I am still heard no feedback from the myGov admin. What a failure!!!

These ppl at SSM are braindead. I'm trying to register a company with the word 'prestige' in it.
Now I get a letter asking me to change the word from prestige to prestij which is Malay spelling. What a bunch of idiots, this word is borrowed from the English language and you're forcing me to change it?

"Penggunaan bahasa atau ejaan dengan betul , sila selaraskan pengunaan bahasa" They probably think they're being flexible, by not making you use the word "darjat" instead.
