if you play some song from old music, those high also missing from compressed format. except you use those uncompress format, flag, ogg.. so on.i think that's quite normal mp3 format will some how make the sound muffle a bit.
and the bass become less detail.
i suggest try the amp by the song from 蔡琴 song, the lower note of her voice will pretty much help you on review the amp/headphone.
