Beware for going too loud.

i enabled the ALVS (advance volume limiter) on my Sony NW-A1000, and since they were commonly known & complained for their "lack of OMPH in volume" i think i'm pretty much safe smile.gif

thank you

P.S. extra question, any ideas how to listen to headphones without damaging my ears? Any precautions?

Same questions that always fiddling in Audiophiles mind. Mostly people choose to get HiFi speakers instead of headphones cause they think that a pair of speakers right beside your ear can damage your ear drums. (yes, I agree that).

Choose to listening your music in mild volume but try to prevent listening for more than 2 hours continuously. smile.gif

...because you are using normal batteries.
Please use only rechargeable battery with power rating 1.2v.

Er, so does this mean that the batteries have to be fully charged when inserted or there will be distortion? What about if they have been used to half or quarter charge? sweat.gif

Yeap... when batteries near to flat only you will have this distortion issues.
Don't worry about out of batteries for few days with conditions you on it 24 hours.

I have no idea what kind of improve. If your source is lousy, your output will be lousy too. After all it is amplifier that amplified the signal which means give you better bass, better treble, better sounding as you know PA2V2 using less components to run the show. Less components also means better battery life and lower down signal loss compareble with those more components design and less colourising. smile.gif
