some people think 4gb will make all the difference,
but in fact 2gb is more than enough
vista isnt really a good OS if u ask me since the minimum req is absurd for a home machine.

you think adding more ram to a rotten OS will make a difference? think again
if u want to implement vista, a smart man will always wait till sp1 and have the laugh of thier life at all the morons who install vista first.

and if your vista is pirated, you goina have alot of headahce. even for xp, some of the headaches is starting to appear.

so think again what u wanna do today..more like where do u wanna go today laugh.gif

Hehe, disagree with your opinion here.Sure the OS will be improved form version to version.Like Win XP is superior than Win98 and Win Me.But in fact that the memory need to be used up is increased in amount of almost double.Vista is definateky for the high end pc's,not point if you run the OS on a P3 machine right? If you are using Win XP with 128Mb,i think you can judge that the 256MB is always better than that once you tried it.

yes true enough what you have just said.
but see, you are thinking of the whole thing as personally and not globally.

you see, most organization, at most they get machines with 512mb. and thats that. no more upgrades.

and there is no such thing as os requierment doubles.
windows xp works fine with 128mb ram minus all the funky gui. i configured one machine to run preety smooth.

yes 256 might be better but then again its like an organization point of view..why bother and save cost. If u wanna say home user, not all of us are as privellaged as you to have gigabytes of ram. and i dont see much application running on vista properly atleast for the 3-4 months when it gets launched.

only hype im living up for vista is Halo 2. thats the only thing.
