hi...


i just bought ps3..so i used my samsung tv hdmi cable and plug to ps3 but it cant read...whats wrong..??

Try on other tv ?

Hdmi port problem on tv , cable or ps3 ?

What you do is hook up your PS3 to your TV using the default cable and the HDMI cable as well.
Then you start your PS3. You may not get any picture through the HDMI input on your TV because the PS3 is not yet configured to use it. Set your TV to the input of the default cable (composite or SCART).
You should see the PS3's home menu.
Go to "Settings" and then scroll down to "Display Settings".
The first options should be "Video Output Settings". Select it and then select "HDMI" as the video output.
You can choose to automatically detect video output resolutions or manually select them. Since your TV is probably limited to 720p, I suggest you go for the manual settings (select "Custom") and select 720p (don't select 1080i or 1080p if your TV doesn't support it).

maybe it's the resolution problem. Try holding down the power button until u hear a second "beep" then let go. c if this helps.

this method totally helped...its happend to me before..shd try this
