QUOTE(CutiePie69 @ May 25 2012, 09:56 AM) Frankly speaking brands sold in supermarket are usually the lower category. These food are high in monosodium glutamate @ salt and very low in nutritional value. If a cat does not drink enough water than there is a high chance of crystals forming in the urinary tract thus causing it to suffer from kidney stones @ batu karang which can be fatal. FYI, this only happens for male cats. Female cats do not suffer from kidney stones but still those food are not recommended if you want your cat to have a healthy lifestyle. Hi CutiePie69 and everybody, I'm planning on buying super premium quality pet food (Orijen, Innova, Wellness) that is grain free, can you guys suggest a sellers or shops that sell them lower or slightly lower than the market price? it is easy to find Royal Canin reseller that sells below the average market price. For me, practicsing cleanliness, ensuring that all my cats get their vacinations and yearly booster done and giving them premium food and supplements and LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE will keep them away from the doctor Already PMed all the sellers in this forum, but the price is not below the market price Also, I read somewhere on the Internet that feed our kittens the whole rabbit is good, but you have to grind it. My question is, where can I find a facility that offers such service (the whole rabbit grind http://www.hare-today.com) thank you guys for your time, hope you guys can help |

hi guys, my kitten is 4 months old and she is extremely hyperactive and playful. she always waking me up at 4.30 a.m-ish to play with her. i have another cat who also can't entertain her hyperactiveness and her fond of kitty self-invented games. everyday i woke up and just wiggle my hand under the pillow for her to play catch. but overtime i felt really sleepy and fell asleep, everytime. and go to work with half asleep.
the question is, how to fulfil her needs on entertainment and at the same time i'm not too tired to go to work. any suggestion is appreciated. i think it is not fair for her if i just go to sleep and ignore her while she still in the age of learning and playful. already tried: adopt a friend for her to play with, because in some article on the net says that 'Many kitten owners will tell you that the only thing known to mankind that can keep up with a kitten is…another kitten' but the other kitten is also too tired to entertain her. argh i'm going crazy like this. help |

If you know everything about cat, you wouldn't 'barking' at people who asks
you just meow at them with politeness and maturity how old are you again? |

QUOTE(CutiePie69 @ Jun 12 2012, 11:10 AM) Hi there mfak0511, Dear cutiepie69, thank you for your concern on my kitten's healthClamavox is a broad spectrum antibiotic. For your information, broad spectrum means it covers all kinds of sickness i.e. fever, flu, diarrhea etc To stop your cat from having loose stool, i recommend you to buy a bottle of kaolin pectin from the pharmacy. One bottle costs only RM6.00. Kaolin Pectin will harden the loose stool. Or another solution is Scourban which is a medication for cats having diarrhea. If you want some, I can gladly share you some of mine. Just give me a tinkle on 012 611 3258. I dont mind as I know you are a student. Also if you can buy a tin of Science I/D which will cost you RM7 to RM8 per tin. Science I/D is good for cats having diarhhea. If not just buy chicken breast, boil it in water (no salt) then feed the meat to your cat for one or two days. Added on June 12, 2012, 12:54 pmLets not be so harsh on Listiani. She is a 'no nonesense' person when it comes to cats as she loves them very much. She is a passionate person that loves to save the strays and I geuss she was a bit upset hearing that the cat died. She's all bark but no bite. Inside is a soft hearted person. Hope you all understand When someone is passionate about saving animals lives you must understand that they get upset when they hear or see things like animals being neglected or abused. I am sure you all have the same feelings as her but show it differently. We are all here for a reason and that reason is the LOVE for cats. Lets carry on loving our pets and try to make it a better place for them. Peace. sorry to make you post such a long explanation right now i kinda relieve that my kitten is not having diarrhea and no vomit since yesterday after this I might wanna follow your suggestion thank you again sis |

Hi, i fed my kitten a whole munia (ciak tuli, Lonchura striata)
man that was so good to see but only one of them eating that bird because i only got one was a pair of munias but one flown away and i think it is good cause it's the whole prey right (according to guys from BARF Diet thread, fitrah, white palace etc). first i turn the lights off (and it was a night time) but let the porch lamp stay on, the light in the house is very dim, i read somewhere that cats loves hunting in the dark. and let them have fun chasing those munia. and when the munia got into the darker room, it fell down to the floor because loosing sense in the dark and my cat jumped into it. after few hours of playing the munia got weakened and i decided to chop off the munia's head and cut them to pieces. i know you guys think it's unethical, but prey are meant to be eaten by the predator, God Himself created animals for us to consume and for the kittens, they will play with them first then eat their prey. It is natural. (please don't debate on this matter). the thing is, when i'm away to work, i have to feed my kittens kibbles and the best kibbles (approved by many) is Orijen but the brand is not available in my area, i'm really looking for it and i hope fellow forumers can help me find the cheapest available PS: and please guys, please don't turn this post into some point to start a fight (my previous one was) and i have no idea why people love to pick a fight on something so simple. be civilised okay. just go and pummel a wall if you're not in the right mood |
