hi, i have a kitten (himalayan persian) aged 4months. but im having a confusion. Which RC should i give him? Im planning to give him RC Persian Kitten 32. The previous owner has been giving him RC Sensible 33. But after doin some reading, it seems my cat is more suitable to RC Persian Kitten 32 on paper. What do you guys recommend?

QUOTE(elfreakz @ Nov 4 2011, 08:50 PM) 4 months should go for RC Persian Kitten 32 hi thanks for your advice. and ya after doing some reading, I have decided to go for the RC Persian Kitten 32. Hope he could be so fat and lazy! Maybe the previous owner feed Sensible 33 because it is cheap.. and he/she has alot of cats. |

anyone here knows the procedure of importing a cat from overseas? I'm thinking of getting a male blue BSH. Anyone here knows what to expect or knows something?

QUOTE(beawolf64 @ Nov 17 2011, 08:41 AM) not an easy work....very leceh one...especially when u want to do a clearence in maskargo...mine already arrive past 2 week ago.... every counter that u dealing with will cost u a money lol... hi, share your experience here la. Thought of bringing a pair of BSH from there. But might as well get them from USA since i found a cattery that doesn't require their pets to be spayed/neutered. |

QUOTE(totti 10 @ Nov 17 2011, 05:36 PM) Rep breeder will always require you to spay the cat unless you are buying show/starting a breed program. Hi there thanks for the link. For a start to be honest, I don't mind getting one desexed blue BSH. I have that thought of breeding initially but perhaps not in a rush so therefore I actually don't mind having one neutered BSH for a long-life companionship. Since it seems you have bought one from the Bluebabe cattery in Malaysia, do you mind me asking how much did they charge you for the cat alone? I'm trying to compare the costs of importing one from overseas to M'sia or just buying one from the cattery in here. Heard they charge you an arm and a leg for a kitten. So might as well be a smart buyer and evaluate pros and cons of both methods. My girlfriend has decided to adopt a BSh too, and since we are in Singapore and buying from bluebab(Malaysia) will require the kitten to be quarantined for at least 30days(gonna cost us $500) we figure would be much better to buy from OZ, can skip the quarantine and can get a better quality cats. Plus cheaper transport cost compared to UK, Ireland, and US At the moment we are talking with http://www.britzcats.com/ and weighing on either silver or solid blue. both have irresistable cuteness Regardless, thanks for the bluebabe contact. Might adopt one for my parents in the future. And thanks for the link of the cattery in Aus. They seem to have such beautiful blue kitties. But do they actually provide international shipping for the kitties? Sorry ya if i ask you a lot of things, since you have started negotiating with them, might as well ask directly from you. QUOTE(beawolf64 @ Nov 17 2011, 05:56 PM) maybe this link will help you...just give a try... Hi thanks for your feedback. I will try to understand about the procedures well. Quite a hassle but since importing one from overseas for a pet quality BSH is practically cheaper than buying one from Malaysia cattery. I don't really like certain catteries' policies here in M'sia, and some really put a very expensive price for a kitten for a pet quality kitten. And no, Im not talking about the BSH kitten, it's just i know some catteries over charge expensively because they are monopolising some breeds. http://www.dvs.gov.my/web/guest/importregulations first of all, make sure u already have import permit 30 day before shipment.then scan and email those permit to eksporting behalf..after u get the flight detail, booked your space in Maqis.acttually no need to booked also ok.but better do it if u want to put your cat in Air-cond space This post has been edited by emy_xvidia: Nov 17 2011, 10:43 PM |

give them lactose-free milk if possible. Not those dutchlady ones. Even cheap kitten powder milk is rich with lactose one. Check the ingredient 1st before buying. Most cats are lactose-intolerant. Just be on the safe side, don't give them milk. If then can eat solid food ady, I dont think by not giving them milk would affect them. Those premium brand like RC babycat have those nutrition already to cater for their needs.

I got one cat who loved to eat hard-boiled eggs one. But the only significant effect i think when they fart, it's unbelievably strong and smelly one, worse than their shit's odor. Try it, and avoid them farts! Hahaha This post has been edited by emy_xvidia: Nov 20 2011, 03:24 PM |

i boiled him an egg just now, but this new kitty of mine is damn choosy. never touched the damn egg at all. only sniffed for a few seconds then went off.
my last cat one, a normal DSH couldn't even resist an egg. even if i left the egg with its shell was still there, he would play it around and smack it to the wall to eat it. and he was fat. time to look for other kitteh. |
