hello cat lovers,

need some help here. i feed my cats hill's science plan optimal care and so far they are loving it. i know there are better brands but currently i am on a budget. however today, the vet and pet shop that i buy them from said that the cat food is no longer available. being replaced with some other taste/version but way more expensive.

i am in jb and wondering if any of you guys outside jb can see if this brand still on sale at your place. i can see that they are still available online on hill's website. or at least there are no news that this particular brand is no longer being produced.

not anymore, anywhere. science plan was called off (in malaysia) because it contained animal fat which allegedly to be of swine origin. the expensive ones u saw, was of the prescription diet range.
*
dang. i think the ones in the cans also contain swine fat, but still available for sale. sweat.gif

guess i have to look for something else. any recommendations sir? good but not too premium/expensive.

Hi, I just want to get some opinion here. Few months ago, a few cats came to my house and we are feeding it. Then, more cats came to my house. A female cat also gave birth to a few kittens. And now, we have almost 10 cats here. The problem is, our neighbours seems quite unhappy with that, as sometimes the cat will go play around in their car porch. So now I'm worried that they will go to complain to the MPSJ, and the cats will be caught and being put to sleep(maybe?) I'm really in a dilemma now. To continue feeding or stop giving food? I understand that sometimes the cats will go to people's house to do their 'business', but what can I do to stop them? I'm doing the job not for my own sake, but I just dont hope that they go across the road to find food and end up got hit by cars. Why people just can't understand? I'm doing so not for my own benefit! I even have to take my money out to feed them! Isn't it when we see something pityful we must have a compassionate heart to help? We got a stomach, they also have stomach right? Where is our loving society? Why people only care about those expensive or XX breeds? They don't have a choice to choose what breed they want to be right? See, the society is really sick now.

i know the feeling. start spaying the cats. limit the numbers of cat breeding. place a plastic box with cat litter sand so they can do their business. can put somewhere around your house where it is easy to clean and the smell don't bother others much.

Yes I did brought some of them to the vet and spay. But the doctor charge quite high although we mentioned that they are strays. Any cheaper vet recommended here?

try SPCA, as ricky said;
