If you want to buy cat litter, for one cat, one bag of cat litter can last one month or more. Regular clumping cat litter cost around RM15 to RM20 (10L - lasted at least one month for one cat). Pine wood & charcoal cost around RM30 to RM40 (9kg - lasted up to 3 months or more for one cat). Crystal cat litter cost around RM35 (1.5kg - lasted one month for one cat). Crystal cat litter is the best in controlling the odour, regular clumping litter come second. The pine wood is very economical but odour control a bit poor than the other two. It still make the poop less smelly though. I have not yet try charcoal but I heard it is better than pine wood & it's economical like pine wood.

If you have limited budget, you don't need to buy expensive cat food. But since you only have one cat, you only need to spent little money for your cat every month. If your cat is really is she, spaying your cat is good idea since you have limited budget.

This is Comel, my Maine Coon look alike cat. The mother is Siamese & the father is regular cat. This is my second DHL cat I have so far & I believe the father cat carry the genes or something. She like to *sit* like that.

I recommend put a leash & harness on your cat when bring your cat to outside for walks. Kittens when hyper they tend to suddenly run toward the road.
You should bring your cat to vet ASAP, please. Shaking probably got fever which means she probably got infection or something.

Hi guys~ I adopted 2 kittens (not sure about their ages, probably around 3-4 months) from my neighbor around 2-3 weeks ago. At first they still want to eat the jelly food in the pouch/canned but then one day when my mom cooked fish, they kept meowing so we gave them the fish mixed with rice and after that they don't want to eat their food anymore (the wet/jelly type and the dry type also) TT A TT We already bought quite numerous of foods for them but none really working. They only want to eat rice with fish/chicken (my mom boiled them) and don't want to eat anything else. I tried to mix the rice with fish/chicken with a little of their food (dry (kibbles) and wet/jelly type) too (planning to slowly change their food) but they don't want to eat it if I mix with the dry/wet/jelly food =A=;; They're really picky and I think they have sensitive noses too. What should I do? Should I get them some kind of vitamin or whatever to increase their appetite? Should I bring them to vet just for this? I know it's not good for cat to eat rice... It's also hard for my mom to keep boiling chicken and fish for them (as we have to remove the bones as well as make the chicken and fish turn into smaller pieces). Helpppppp ; A ;

I just rescued and adopted 2 kittens; both 'kucing jalanan' breed (domestic short hair).
One is almost 4 months old and another just a baby about a month old.
I've been feeding them Pro-Diet, both kibbles and wet food.
I've been going to the vet once a months for check-up, deworm, etc and my vet said both are healthy.

I haven't asked my vet yet about what is the most suitable food brand to give to them.
They both are taking the liking of Pro-diet and it costs cheap too.
I heard some bad reviews about the brand.

So do you guys have any other brand which is affordable for me to try?
Remember my babies are not the expensive type of cats so i don't want to spend much on their food.
Any suggestions?

Vaccinations and spaying/neutering are mutually exclusive. You do not have to have vaccinations before neutering and vice versa.

Please don't judge a vet office based on the front desk lady, since it is possible that she was hired purely for the receptionist position and has nothing to do with the actual vet practice.

Now, if the front desk lady was a vet tech, then maybe you can worry a little. However, a person's demeanor doesn't mean that they're like that with your pet.

I give my cats dried catnip on their scratcher. They love it. I would grow some myself, since I can buy a small fresh pot at the pet store, but I don't think they would even let it grow. That's how crazy they are about it =)

What do you want to know about it? It's a perfectly safe plant. It's actually a member of the mint family.

I try to grow pokok kucing galak but it died because extreme heat lately.
