anyone here knows the procedure of importing a cat from overseas? I'm thinking of getting a male blue BSH. Anyone here knows what to expect or knows something?

Yes, check Maskargo website, there's info about importing cats or other pets...it's tedious(leceh),you'll need papers and clearance from Vets, Jabatan Haiwan etc, from both importing & exporting countries... From which country you want to import? If from selected commonwealth countries like UK, Australia, dont have to quarantine it, otherwise the cat will have to be quarantine at the airport for sometime..

mine need to be quarantine for 7 day only...acctually the last time i ask the quarantine officer,he said any cat from Australia
need to be quarantine for 10 day minimum upon arrival.because they found a new disease from there..before this i also heard that any cat from australian no need to be quarantine.

It's called 'hendra virus' and juz recently been detected. Actually only the horses there got it so juz to be safe all animals from that country are required to be quarantinr

There are NO savannah cat available or savannah cattery in Malaysia yet! Samy, Thomas Ooi and Kittunkatz do have Serval/s but owning serval and producing savannah are totally different matter. I assume they tried to produce savannah but till now to no avail. Just imagine trying to mate a domestic cat with serval which is 3 times bigger than domestic cat!
As for the Sabah's breeder (http://malsavannahs.blogspot.com/), it's not operational yet as they're only planning to bring in Savannah (not serval) direct from US & UK, not by mating serval and domestic cat like Samy, Ooi & Kittun tried.
As for savannah legal issue, i think it shud be similar to Bengals as they are not really wild animal but a hybrid but it's still in grey area for Perhilitan as there are no savannah in M'sia yet!
For Beowulf, dont think you'll ever get a permit to keep ALC as they strictly stated in their FB that permit for ALC are ONLY given to registered organisation such as zoos, parks, research ctr etc. You are 2 years late coz i know someone who did get the permit for ALC by bribing perhilitan officer BUT since the Anson Wong scandal followed by a number of perhilitan officers picked up by BPR, it's impossible. But i think there's still a way...the same way as Samy & kitunkatz get their permit for Servals... by importing them... the main reason perhilitan didn't give permit to individual is bcoz to protect the wildlife in M'sia, so if you import them, it's totally different story...

Hi all.. Just wanna ask.. Which one's better.. Orijen or Evo? Thanks in advance..
*
Orijen. it won Petfood of the year award by some petfood research industries or something for 3 consecutive years...
Both brand are super premium grain-free catfood which are very good. Evo have more meat but orijen are better overall.

...do you know why MCFA been banned by TICA?
*
Many people have complaint about MCFA president, Ismail Mohd Ali for involving in illegal activities especially regarding pedigree certificate and the complaint have been made to TICA....read this : http://forums.petfinder.my/showthread.php?...&highlight=mcfa. Also : http://forums.petfinder.my/showthread.php?...&highlight=mcfa.
He also owned a pet shop cum clinic BUT with bad reputation, read this : http://forums.petfinder.my/showthread.php?t=2380.
So it's obvious that TICA have acted from the complaints made...
