my kitten (adopted when she was 6 weeks, now she is 11 weeks) has this strange habit of eating bread. Normal ah ?

We feed her 3 times a day, mixture of wet and dry. I'm sure we are feeding her enough. But is there is bread on the table, even if it is still in the plastic she will tear the plastic until she can get the bread...

My other cat doesnt do that at all, I thought cats dont eat carbs . ...

Well, I feed my cat dry food and only wet food on the weekends. However, when I'm eating, she always try to peek and meowing at me.

my cat love to TRY eating my fish pet in aquarium lol... 4 aquarium crash already..2 feet 2pc,1 feet 2 pc... imagine my male cat dipping his head into 2 feet tank just to reach the fish

my kitten will carry things around the house in her mouth, but hasn't learnt to fetch

but my big cat knows how to jump onto the stool and shake hands for a treat. like a miniature lion in the circus!

  you guys cat are pandai one...my cat love to kiss only....my male expertise is seek and destroy....if he find anything that he love then destroy it...my queen love to climb so nothing for me to worry about except if she jump and hit the fan lol

Is it normal for cats having nightmares? I've seen few occasions of my cat (male, 1yr++) whom I think, is having a nightmare, like us having one. Shaken body, mouth/whisker moved a bit, as if he's talking/meowing, and few other things that we did when we're having bad dream. Even when I tried to wake him up, he didn't awake until I have to shake him a bit harder, only then he realised he's no longer sleeping. Then he do the usual head bump ( probably thanking me for waking him up from his nightmares), and sleep silently beside me.

Last night about 8, I went out for awhile but I left the door open. My kitty, usually just peek outside and would wander around the house area. She's not used to company, whenever a person pass by she would run back to the house... but last night, after I came home. She was gone.

Can cats remember their way back home?

my cat A drink too much water but eating lesser compare to cat B and C making me always need place water outside toilet... is it normal?

Kitten are very playful & short attention span. You have to be very patience with them.

I know of a few muslim who keeps dogs and they will samak after handling them.

Have you heard of the news of a muslim vet who came out in the open to say that this person will not stop handling pig and will always samak after handling them.

Correct me if I'm wrong about this?

how can i make my cats being loyal as dogs? right now they just recognize me as a friendly creature not an owner or a best friend. those two always play around, i can't even cuddle or handle them, just for the short period and then they lompat and continue playing. I know kittens likes to play but...hmmm

But most are from KL while I'm from Penang, that makes it hard.

I dunno. I wasn't at home for 2 days. And then my neighbor called saying he's dead. He looks sick and don't wanna eat the day we left. (he was an outdoor cat)   

Calling someone irresponsible is quite rude, I must say. What you know anyway? Unless my cat was an indoor cat and we left him alone, you can call us irresponsible. He was a fierce cat, he ate everything he found outside. He's not really ours. He just come home to eat and sometimes never came home, that's all.

We usually only leave the house not more than 2 days maximum, which sometimes even the cat didn't even come home for a week, making us sure that he was an independent cat.

I do admit that I'm not really that responsible for leaving him unattended, but my problem is that my family is not that fond of cats. I know you keep your cats oh so well but you cannot compare your family and mine. It's huge difference. But AT LEAST we give stray cats outside some foods. Just think of it this way, my dad don't really like cats but I love cats a lot and because of kesian, he gave me a chance to feed the cat and play with him, nothing more than that.

I really hate it either, what I want is we keep more cats inside and make them happier, but that's just impossible because of my family. I don't have any rights to say anything since I'm the youngest one and feeding outdoor cats is considered more than enough already, for them.

C'mon, I just lost a cat. I'm not happy at all. I'm sorry but your words have offended me. I'm in TEARS when writing this. I love him a lot, even when our times together was too short. It's just too painful knowing he's gone. At least you should be more sensitive.

I do hope I can be more responsible when I get older. I realize I'm just a hopeless kid now.

Just saying. Different people different opinion. Here hoping other cat lovers here don't attack me. No need to add my sadness and guilt.

feed her BARF and shes sick, vomitting and diarrhea
will throw up 1 hour ~ 4 hours after eating anything
right now i have to feed her plain water only
went to the vet and she gave me clavamox and activated charcoal which is costed me RM25
right now I'm broke only left RM 3 coins i can't go to the vet with empty pocket

bought RM250++ of quality vegetables and meat just to make BARF for her, because she so thin, i thought giving her pure uncooked meat will make her fluffy like she used to be T.T

no fate.......

i'm a student and used all my practical training allowance

help me, what can i do to make her better?

Own him? I didn't own him. He came to my house looking hungry, I can't just leave him starve. Like other cats, he will come back for more. I can't avoid that. If I want to avoid it I must see him go away feeling disappointed. I can't see that. But I never blame him for that.

Neuter? Of course my family wouldn't bother no matter what I said.

Yeah, I HATE it either, as much as you hate it. I do understand. I don't want my parents to be like this. Of course I want that cat and all other cats in this world to have a better life.
