I did some research, apparently Scottish Fold is the most adorable, affectionate, doesn't meow alot, and the most highest maintenance.
Added on April 27, 2012, 11:16 amOh, thanks for the Nagahill Bengals info. This post has been edited by Mike3300: Apr 27 2012, 11:16 AM |

Added on April 27, 2012, 11:16 amOh, thanks for the Nagahill Bengals info. some breed have a very gentle characteristic but unlike my cat, totally chaotic mad cat...i need to replace their small toys every 2-3 month, need to clean their room daily because they love to run after doing their "bussines" in litter pan.so the litter medium always scattered around.plus the broke my aquarium twice already |

QUOTE(beawolf64 @ Apr 26 2012, 02:58 PM) Thanks beawolf64 for the reply. Wah, rasanya mcm dah naik harga if the consultation fee is over 35. I remember it was only around 30 the last time and 15 for each additional cat. Hm...going to try to find a UPM student to go with me lah so can get more discount. They get an extra 5% if I'm not mistaken. |

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Apr 26 2012, 06:56 PM) Hi there Mike3300I know a Scottish fold breeder that is staying in Ampang. You can PM me for the number. The Scottish fold that she has is very nice. The ears are very small and nicely folded. Added on April 28, 2012, 9:43 am QUOTE(beawolf64 @ Apr 27 2012, 12:45 PM) on my view....it depend on person...everyone have their own taste and interest...and every cat breed have their own characteristic... Yes, I do agree with Beawolf64.some breed have a very gentle characteristic but unlike my cat, totally chaotic mad cat...i need to replace their small toys every 2-3 month, need to clean their room daily because they love to run after doing their "bussines" in litter pan.so the litter medium always scattered around.plus the broke my aquarium twice already Every breed has its own characteristic. Infact keeping any pets has its maintenance and if you are really into it the maintenance can be very high. I have about 20 cats consisting of Exotic Shorthairs, Munchkins, Siamese, Persian and Domestic Shorthairs. So far the maintenance is moderate as I believe if you are consistent about their vacinations, food, supplements etc they will maintain a good and healthy life style then your medical expenses will not be high and thus maintaining them will not be an issue. QUOTE(cikar0 @ Apr 17 2012, 05:21 PM) owh.. ok.. thanx for the fast reply.. I use Feline Fresh for my cats. There are two versions. I use the one in the purple packaging. Instead of smelling like pee/poo, it smells like wood. Reminds me of IKEA. Added on April 30, 2012, 8:47 pm QUOTE(pinkdalmation @ Apr 22 2012, 04:48 PM) i recently adopted a 5 week old kitten (already have a 1year+ big boy kitty at home) so I checked on the internet and ppl say 1 litterbox per cat right? I supplied two boxes..and my kitten poos in the litter box, no problem ... but she pees on newspaper/plastic bag/under the sink. Any suggestions ? The litter box is also in the bathroom, so under the distance between under the sink and the litter box is not even 2 meters apart.. I used to have the same problem with one of my cats.here are my kitties. ![]() I fixed it by keeping the cat in a cage with food, water & the litterbox. After a week, he got the message. So I let him roam free. After a couple of days, he did it again. Back to the cage he went. Cats are pretty smart, since mine never peed outside of his litterbox after that Added on April 30, 2012, 8:58 pm QUOTE(ElaineChewMeow @ Apr 13 2012, 08:34 AM) Welcome, welcome Added on April 30, 2012, 8:59 pm QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Apr 14 2012, 11:02 AM) I was wondering, should I clean or wipe my cat's anus after she pee or poo? I don't want her to lick all the dirt too much. That's up to you.Normally, I just let them be. Unless anything's stuck on their fur, I'll wipe/clean them off. Added on April 30, 2012, 9:00 pm QUOTE(DrBarbarian @ Apr 14 2012, 04:27 PM) Sorry to hear about your cat.Been a while now. Did he/she return home? Added on April 30, 2012, 9:00 pm QUOTE(thematrix @ Apr 15 2012, 08:07 AM) First time posting here. Hello! I'm a cat lover, especially siamese. Sadly, my siamese cat (who I just rescued last Monday) just died last night. T.T Vet said he's too sick. Ringworm + diarrhea + virus, etc. He had a seizure around 1AM last night and his seizure eventually until his death. Really sorry to hear about your cat Added on April 30, 2012, 9:03 pm QUOTE(mizeily @ Apr 15 2012, 10:29 AM) Hi cat lovers..wanna ask.. 1. I bought a cheap plastic box at a plastic shop & used that.1..what kind of litter boxes are you guys using? 2. how many do u hv? 3.how do mininised the tracking? Tx.. 2. If you're referring to no. of litterboxes, I use 1. If you're referring to no. of cats, I have 2. & another 2 cats at my family's place. 3. Place a mat under the litterbox. I suggest something that you use as floor mats for cars. You know, the very kasar kind haha. Added on April 30, 2012, 9:05 pm QUOTE(Listiani @ Apr 12 2012, 01:21 PM) Yeah, my cats are playful too. The most I cannot tahan, they like to play hide and seek in my wardrobe. I have to rearrange my clothes 3-4 times a week because when they play inside my wardrobe all my clothes is in the mess. My cat sleeps in my wardrobe every day.Even newly washed clothes are covered in cat fur. But you're right. We are their slaves haha This post has been edited by naddie2601: Apr 30 2012, 09:05 PM |

Should I change my cat food? or izzit something else? I find that BW is okay for my cats as to RC or Iams. Before changing my cats food to BW, my cats were on RC and Iams and they shed a lot. Total opposite of your problem. Other than food causing your cats to shed could be due to the following reasons :- - stressed - weather too hot - cats then to shed at least once or twice in a year. So we need to pin point the reason. Not necessary food will cause cats to shed. |
