I bought a WD ext. harddisk from them about 2 years.
Man, when I got home, I realised that the surface of the cover is scratched (lots of hair line scratches), so I return it to them the next day asking for an exchange. I was being honest explaining my case to the guy which sold the HDD. He got no patience and just scold me off with all kinds of foul language. I also fight back anyway. In the end, he still don't want to exchange it and I have to bare with it. But at least it's working. It's a lesson learned for me anyway. I think that guy with spiky hair is still working. The front staff are a main complaint. They are not interested in getting sales. They just hang around and talk among themselves. The counter staff are also not friendly looking. Even VCD sellers in Petaling Street have better customer service than them. Also the staffs working there are always different every few months! What are they doing traning program for "Pretend u work, but u are not working" type of staffs? Explains a lot the working environment. |

I absolutely hate this place. Although i have to admit they have loadsa stuff but their service is rubbish and i think all of their parents never taught them any manners whatsoever. Terrible and rude service. Yet, still many people are going to them. We should all boycott!

just wanna share my experience buying last year. I bought a headset from seri, before i pay, i said i wanted to test first, then they say i need to pay. he pointed me at the counter, when i go to the counter to pay, the cashier look blur blur like dunno what happen, waited for nearly half an hour before I can pay. but thats still okay, after that i went and test the thing, theres this fella went and open the box, then ask me what i want, i said testing. He said okay, he then complain to me saying theres no battery. (my headset uses battery for the infrared connector thinggy). So i got fed up and said thats your problem what, you should at least provide a spare battery for customer to test. Finally after negotiating the staff agree to use some battery he find in the staff office there. heres where the funny thing happened, he went and put the headset on his bloody head and listening to some mp3s, instead of giving it to me, then show me a thumbs up and say the headset work very well. then he packed the headset back and give it to me...

Hi guys,
I have an experience wanted to share with all of you from sri comp. Last 3 days ago, I went to lowyat plaza with my sister, we re heading there to buy a new AGP graphic card for my sis's workstation comp. We begun searching for AGP 8x affordable card around lowyat and we ended up on sri comp. I asked the guy there is there any AGP 8x card available? He answered yes and hand me a Sapphire X1600 PRO AGP 8x. Me and my sister asked how much is the card, the guy responded to us RM160. we asked for cheaper, so it ended up on RM153. I see the box has been opened before and i asked the guy, "is the card has been used before?" i m afraid that it might turns out to be another refurbish product cause i have no experience on this. The guy answered yes and i was in a rush, so we bought the card and went back home. That night, i decided to install the card into my sister's pc. I open the box and found out that, the sealed package tat protects the card has been opened before and theres no user manual. And when i decided to take a closer look to the outer box, it has clear tape taped all around the box. And the card doesnt looks like the usual AGP 8x sapphire x1600... the fan looks like someone changed it.... original sapphire x1600pro fan looks like this ![]() the gfx card fan in the box looks like this (just look at the fan without the ATI sticker) ![]() But luckily my sis computer detects it as a x1600pro. But still, the gfx card apperance did not look like sapphire x1600 to me... as i googled the images of it on the internet, and the guy who claimed the product is new...the product looks like a refurbished item to me... Rlly dissapointed on Sri Computer... Guy lies to me tat it is a new item, i live quite far away in Subang area, should i go back and ask for item exchange? i dun think they hav another x1600pro stocks anymore.... able to exchange to some other thing? i brought a graphic card and a mainboard and after that i found that they did not give the screw for both box....... than i ask the staff to give but that guy say is that box not include screw than push me and wan to fight with me sri com suck, staff looks like gangster....... |

mostly agp u but nowadyas is either old stock or demo unit u noe agp card already outdated edy if not spoil ok la since the seller already told u is used unit edy but u also buy it what for u complaint ??

hi all, this is a good thread man, I would like 2 share with u all my experience with sri comp in which i truly regretted buying RM400 worth of products from them...
SCENE 1 I was scouting for prices for hyper212+ and a 1tb WDgreen hard drive and at the same time i wan to build a new computer on top of that. So i went to the front counter and get a quotation from the spiky hair guy. then he was very COLD as usual, speaking a word or two. I also went inside to check out the case and another sales person attended to me and he was like 99% SMS-ing on his handphone and nvr bother 2 even look at me when I was trying 2 talk 2 him....Then I went 2 other places 2 search and went bak there again to meet the spiky hair guy. This time, I was telling him I jz wanna get the hyper 212+ and the HD 1st, while my computer build not sure wanna buy anot. Then that fella start speaking sternly in canto 'R u buying or not the comp build from me?', I was like replying 'not sure yet, jz wanna get the other items i mention'. Then again, he repeat the same thing even more sternly. Eventually, I said NO, and he terus say, for that I've 2 CHARGE U HIGHER for the HD and the CPU cooler and he jz get it for me & ask me 2 pay with the service charge for installation Stupid me, realizing he was already rude, I didn't decline, I jz took the items and went 4 the counter and paid for the extra cost. I don't mind paying higher if its not a bundle price but the way he questioned me looked like he's threatening me... FINE, that's scene 1, its bout rude sales person...not that bad yet now SCENE 2, I paid for the items, went to the technician told him I require him 2 install together with my PC of cuz. Then I jz ask him 'is it possible 2 help rearrange my SATA cables abit cuz its rly quite messy', Then, that big man terus say 'WE don't cover all these things in yr service charge, jz install for u only' AND HE TERUS SLAM the grill door in their service department on me without saying anything else. AND guys, don't u think their service area LOOK like a jail...HAHA now SCENE 3, my fren came and he wants 2 quote a budget PC as his secondary comp. Then I refer him to another fatter salesguy @ the front counter, then my fren told him is it possible to select the cheapest hardwares in each category to make out a new PC at a low price. Then that fella keep insisting U tick the hardware yrself, I will calculate 4 u. Even my fren asks again as he doesn't know much bout hardwares, that guy refuses 2 help. then my fren told him 'fine' quite unhappily and started 2 walk away. Then that FAT FACE start to scold all kinds of vulgar words... DAMN..... man, there r still alot more that happen, all these happen within the same day...I've been into that shop several times and I realize almost all the staffs there r very cocky though rarely, u'll meet one or two NORMAL salesperson there. FROM NOW ON, i always tell ppl if sri comp sells u slightly cheaper by a few bucks, PLS go for other alternatives AS THEY HAVE SHIT-QUALITY CUSTOMER service...its so difficult 2 talk 2 any1 there esp the ppl at the counter WHO ARE THE WORST 1s... Speaking of it, i also dah pissed of...damn... |
