No la. Not always behind the base; mortar have a min and max range, min being 150m or so. So if you want to suppress a location in front of you, then you have to move back. But if your team keep getting pushed back, then you basically have to go waaay back in the base.

Mortar is a plus if your team know how to put it to advantage. I am still noob in this, but one thing I am sure is it's best against campers and cut off enemy.

Does anyone else have the bug which you get the sound of your coaxial L/HMG go non-stop? So annoying if you have no time switch it back to make it stop.

And sometimes, the fences in Caspian Border cannot be destroyed, knife 3 times, jeep trying to bang through, still standing strong. Lol. sweat.gif
