hi,
some of u maybe already know me, some maybe dont..
starting as casual gamers, now i consider myself a hardcore one.. why?
because i cant stop buying kids / easy / and stupid games just for achivements, and not for the fun anymore! LOL!
no life? yeay i dun care..

now back to the topic, im thinking doing a personal record, how many GS can i get in 24 hours..?!
yeay straight 24 hours! no sleep just gaming!

i have about 17 games in my hands, still sealed, and waiting to be play..
thinking to play all of them in 24 hours, and try to get as many GS as i can..

the big question is, is it safe??
ya u know i read somewhere in the net ppl died playing games with no sleep..
and i dont wanna die holding the controller lol!

what say u?
any preparation i shud take before attempt this? doh.gif

Get enough sleep before you start and make sure you go to the toilet. Don't overdose on caffeine. Make sure you eat enough.

Not really. I read from SG newpaper 1 kid died to exhaustion for playing 3 days in a row.

i think its better for you to take a month leave paid/unpaid to clear your games, you will feel better & enjoy the games more than a 24hours session.

You won't die if you stop every couple of hours to drink, eat, stretch your body around for blood circulation and loosen up muscles. Rest 15 minutes every hour of gaming just like what the Japanese publishers always say in their games. wink.gif

Also, some people stream 24 hour gaming marathon all the time and they didn't die.

Rest when tired/sore and hydrate. And do eat your meals else we'll see news of someone game to starvation. xD

Do it and, if you are still alive, tell us your experience brows.gif

PS: I've done it before as a kid with Micro Genius, prepared 2 adapters to switch between them

Bro, before you die, your xbox 360 die 1st brows.gif brows.gif .... As people advised, game time for xbox 360 non stop is max 6 hours and if using intercooler also max 8 hours. sweat.gif Even in aircon room also plus add the sts intercooler, the box heated up. shocking.gif
I played maximum 12 hours for dead space 2 and silent hill 5. My eyes getting blur and swollen. My xbox 360 getting into workshop after that.

Big question to you..
Can your xbox 360 withstand the torture? biggrin.gif

@samsk your info is misleading. i have done what you have done b4 & mine is still good. im on a Xbox360 elite jasper unit so i can say you are just the unlucky 1 here.

I run my xbox without a noisy intercooler and I can definitely game for longer than 6 hours. In fact, there have been a couple of times where i've forgotten to turn the console off leaving it permanently switched on for days.

@shah, if you want to go for a strong 24 hour GS record, make sure you plan in advance what achievements you want to get - i imagine in those 17 unplayed games, there are quite a lot of them which are impossible to 1000/1000 without spending a crazy amount of time on them. Basically go for as many as the easy achievements as possible and as long as you're ok burning your awesome completion ratio, you should be fine.

Planning will be key and set a GS target for the 24 hour session.

edit: oh, and good luck!

Shah, maybe you can use the 24hr gaming thing to raise funds for charity? You know do some good while feeding your OCD?
