I guess not much of are you using FTP clients to transfer file
But for those who are using FTP clients, please feel free to vote

You can post your comment on why you voted for the particular FTP client with some points to support. (Please post constructively and avoid being fanboyish).

This thread will be archived at Essential Reviews and Guides forum for future reference when the timeframe for this poll ends (30th October 2005)

May I ask, which of these FTP clients are freeware? I'm looking for one which is not a shareware and can be used for business....

Filezilla

I'm not a frequent user of FTP...and yeah, my choice is filezilla
Reasons:
- Free, open source, can even be used for commercial purpose
- Simple interface.
- Frequent update.

FileZilla.

Do everything WS_FTP does, and for free. Less memory resources too. A fine replacement for ws_ftp LE.

Used to use Filezilla last time.
But it opened too many FTP connections until the server's FTP down tongue.gif
(Probably due to my stupidness, dunno how to config it properly, dunno)
Then i switched to WS FTP Pro, so far so good.
Since so many ppl vote for Filezilla, i will try it again. Hehe.

Since I am working only on a website or so, I prefer using browser based FTP like Internet Explorer.
