Most big registrar have customer control panel but as a reseller you have option to implement the reseller API where all transaction goes thru your website.
Depending on the webhosting company, some of these API (like auth code) could be left out. Even worst, the domain could be registered under the reseller email address via API.

That's why for KawanHost, I decided not to implement any API.
This gives my customers as much control as possible via kawanhost.supersite.myorderbox.com which is available to every reseller.

Only thing they cannot do is to 'Transfer' within Registrar (from KawanHost to another ResellerClub/Directi reseller), which is FREE btw.
