@nevenchailj

You can try http://www.datakl.com/.

I bought their Datamini plan which is RM60-00 per year came with 2GB storage 25GB monthly bandwidth.

You can register a domain with them which I paid RM60 for 2 years (RM30/year) - which I think it is cheap.

The process is quite fast after I send the receipt of TT payment to them, just less than 1 hour, I have my domain registered and as well webhost.

Once you bought the plan (and domain) you can run the template for BLOG to setup your blog - it is quite easy.

p/s no, I don't work with them. I just a satisfy customer.

Hmph, it sounds not bad indeed. Very attractive but the domain registration is not free. Is there a promotional code for me? By the way, how's their service? It's actually my first time signing up for a web domain so I need good service that can help me when I'm setting up my blog. Thanks.  rclxms.gif

Promotion code?
Nothing that I know.

Blog template is every easy ... basically you need to activate it.
After that you just start blogging.

Domain name itself is already cost RM30++.

Maybe you can go for free web hosting here :-

http://www.000webhost.com/85712.html

1.5GB storage, 100GB bandwidth, 5 email account with pop access (not smtp).

p/s if you want to go for totally free - free domain as well.
Check https://www.co.cc/. It providing not top level domain but sub-domain like "www.yourname.co.cc".
If don't mind you can get one from this site.

The hosting is buy from the company leh,how come they dun hv the auth code?
Hask us 2 request 2 his domain provider, but v cant request without the auth code wat....
V buy the domain from them,v should hv control of the domain ,rite?
But v not oni cant control, wan transfer to other hosting oso cant let us do...

Wat should i do in order 2 hv the transfer auth code?
*
Can you control your domain like change the "Name Server" which allow you to change your web hosting but still keep your domain?

If you have the control of the above, you should able to see something called "Modify Domain Secret" which is your auth code.

Try to get the link for Domain Control from your provider.
It should solve your problem.

yo, your package included lifetime domain?
if i unsubscribe after a year, will i still have the domain?
*
I think "free lifetime domain" mean you continue subscribing the hosting plan without need to pay for the domain name, which cost RM30++ yearly fee.

After one year, you decide don't want to subscribe to the hosting plan, you can move out your domain to someone else (other hosting company) but you still need pay for the second year domain renewal fee RM30++.

Hi everyone,

I sort of new around here and i am looking for a new hosting environment on server located at Malaysia or Singapore. I found http://www.domainregister.com.my/hosting.html to be quite impressive but do not dare to sign up with them. Anyone uses them before please advice smile.gif

On the other hand, please do recommend me some good and reputation hosting company that i can sign up with. (my site has around 200-1500 unique visitors per day and required quite a large amount of disk space in the future as it is a growing website). Currently i am on US hosting environment and wished to switch to a local one to improve responsiveness of the portal. My budget is around RM300-800 per year at the moment.

If you have that kind of budget, try to go for good reputation and well establish webhost company. Those company usually been around more than 4-5 years.

Those new webhost company usually not really reliable, and they can close down their business anytime and run away with your money (having that kind of experience before - BaitHost).
