hi all,
i found out my left arm is really underpower compare to right arm.
example 5kg Tricep Dumbbell- left hand barely can lift up until 3-4 rep but right arm can do 10 rep no problem at all.

currently i train more with lower kg at my left arm. and also push up.
any more effective way to improve it?
thanks

BodyBuilding is about building a physique that you want. Core strength however is more of a specialized training kind of thing, though in BB, we do train for core strength as well(big compount lifts), abdomen and back training as such, but core strength in itself I think wouldn't be categorized as BB. It is a part of BB most definitely. But that's just my opinion, it may not be the case. smile.gif

Appreciate for you guys input, the reason of asking this question is because I'm now doing core strength training and I found some of the training or the exercise in CS like squat are quite similar to BB technique buy just didn't involved extra iron weight. But it seems like both are pretty similar in the sense of building up strength but in diff way. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, I did, I tried Pyramid... e.g.

15reps x 10kg
13rep x 15kg
10rep x 20kg
then lastly did free weight to failure (push up for chest)

repeat for few weeks and go back to original one..

Added on March 6, 2012, 8:51 amI did above mentioned workout for my chest day before yesterday....

woke up this morning and notice my chest slightly smaller... it shrunk...

anyone experience this before>?

yday heard abt a PT telling his client that, one must do press chest and once the chest shape is formed then only can do fly. According to the PT, he said most of the ppl have done wrongly, that do press chest and fly concurrently.

is this statement accurate?

glad that our articles helped you and you took the time to read, many newcomers do ignore that part (reading).

There is no real right or wrong in BB, darkseifer had posted many facts as well, but as you progress you would need to tweak to your body's adaptability.

For example, for some to maintain low body fat, its easy to do with calorie deficit, for some with low carbo alone work wonders and for others higher calories, like eating every 2-3 hours so that fat are not stored and these people high energy expenditure as well.

cheers

im no expert, but i'd like to share my thoughts. i feel that statement has no basis. from what i know, muscles can't be shaped. they can only become bigger or smaller. i don't see any problem doing press and fly concurrently. one is a compound and one is an isolation. in my opinion the pt sounds like an idiot.
