Whether or not fiction, you guys decide. I'm not going to convince you guys. Only wanna tell a sad story. Okay ceritanya gini.

I got a friend who works in a bank in Johor Bahru. He's a bank manager that signs off loads of papers, and one of it is to sign off orders to start tarik kereta.

Yday i go meet up with him and he looks damn pucat. I ask him what's wrong. He say "cari makan susah la bro". Im like wafak u bank manager sit in chair sign sign also susah hidup ah? He said not only work is hard, but he cannot do his work properly, coz got people threaten his life and his wifes life. I ask him... tell me la, maybe i can help you - i got some contacts in Johor polis station can help you out wan.

Then he told me the story. In Johor, recently (maybe a few years) there is a syndicate. This syndicate is formed by a group of mat tarik kereta (or aneh tarik kereta, which ever you're comfortable with). Usually, bank will issue the order, and hire these guys to tarik kereta. These guys suddenly got a brilliant idea - why not bank together and form a union syndicate? It works like this - i get order to tarik kereta. I go to the owner, and I tell the owner, "this car worth RM100,000. I pay you RM30,000 you gimme the car, okay?" So he takes the car, but instead of giving it to the bank, he sells it off to another prospective buyer for RM50,000. So the new owner gets an RM100,000 car for RM50,000 - good deal dey! These cars will have a tiny sticker which identifies it as "Union Car", so other penarik kereta cannot pull wan. Downside is cannot bring the car out of Johor - risky coz the bank might find a non-union penarik kereta to pull it outside of Johor.

The ownership of the car is transferred by paying off someone inside JPJ. They then pay off the police departments and finally pay the union. So what happened to the bank? They're screwed. Basically cannot sue the original owner for the car, because they're bankrupt anyways, and cannot take action against the unions because hard to prove and Johor police all in their pocket.

So this friend of mine, damn kesian. He buta buta go sign sign sign. And one day he got a phone call, "Hello Mr Johnkor, you live at xyz address hor? Your wife work at this xyz place hor?" He also stunned, and asked "whodafuk are you?!" The caller said "you pandai pandai la hor." and slam the phone. But he got no choice. Gotta do his work. So he continued signing.

After he told me the story, I was speechless. I don't know if its true. I don't know if he was lying to me, but i doubt it. But what I know for sure is, if any place in Malaysia shiet like this can happen, it is in Johor. So I share this with you, and hope you guys open your eyes abit more, on how fucuked up the system is in Mareshia. Do something about this. You just have to pick up a pen and pangkah correctly. If not for my friend, do it for yourself - this may happen to you one day.

as emphatic as i am now reading this story,i dont see changing govt will solve this thing altogether in 1 swoop.it just wont go away at all.we commoners/simple rakyat folks have nowhere to go now, nothing to do..
than to obey the higher-ups & the criminals who dictate our lives.

now,i had to consider leaving, just to get away from this debacle... sad.gif

It will be a start in the right direction. UMNO n MCA don't care. At least we can try.

I cannot brain, if he sign order to tarik kereta then the syndicate got business right, so what did he not do or did wrongly?
*
probably should have made it clearer - he signed for a "Union Car" to be pulled again. That's why he kena warning. Basically he attempted to use a non-union puller to take the car.

quite scary after hearing those stories.
inb4 im a johor people.

btw ts ur friend malay?

ya. but there's really nothing you can do. the police is bought. according to him, johor politicians can't help you, because the syndicate itself is also connected. i told him go make a police report anyway, but they're so disillusioned with the system and devastated - goes as far to show how systemic the justice system fails johoreans that my friend completely distrusts the system despite his wife being harmed. vmad.gif

don't let me start...

i don't know how true this is: johor police starting to reject people who come in to request for pulis report becoz they wanna hit their KPI lowering the crime reports. i dunno how true this is, but wouldn't be surprised at all - if this kinda shiet can happen to a friend of mine in johor...i can't think of what cannot happen there.

i am from johor and these syndicates are true and exist.

you buy their car and only can drive in johor only.

is there anyway to bring down these syndicate?

even police also stand on their side.

I don't think you can go through normal channels for this. Police is supposed to protect us. If in their pocket liao, they won't take action - your recourse under the justice system is stopped at the very initial stage. We need to clean up the police system at the top.
